GRAND CANYON ANYBODY I would like to share this picture of the Grand Canyon that I had taken last week. Our family decided to take some time off to go play in the snow in Flagstaff, Arizona. We had a great time. Then, my son was telling us that he really want to go to the Grand Canyon. We had not planned on it. However, it did snow. My wife and I thought it would be nice to see the Grand Canyon with snow. WOW! It was great. This part of America is truly an awesome wonder for all to see. I have been to the Grand Canyon eight times and I never get bored viewing it from all the different view points. It is an awesome sight to see. I feel very fortunate to live so close to it. People who visit us always want to see the Grand Canyon. Take a trip to Arizona and see the Grand Canyon

Sometimes you don't have to look closely at all to see the unadorned beauty of Arizona.  During the summer in Arizona, if you get tired of the heat, you can simply drive north on the I-17 for a couple of hours, and you are in a completely different ecosystem.  This was taken during one of those summer retreats up to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.

I remember hearing someone talking about Arizona one time, proclaiming, "Ah, Arizona - So many lovely shades of brown."  That's partially true, and, having come here from the Indiana where there is no lack of greenery, it took me a while to see the subtle beauty here, but the desert is absolutely gorgeous - sometimes you just have to look closely.  This was taken on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
