Artificial Intelligence?MLS lets AI write our listed house remarks. They turn out to be awful descriptions with too much verbiage. So I am curious.  Let's test them, if you know how.  I don't know how but let's see if we could direct them to do a realistic picture of this house that was in Searcy AR and is now gone. Does it only write? So this old house, beautiful at the time, was captured in a drawing by Arni Anderson in 1974.  The location was at 311 W. Center Street and Townhouse Apartments took its place. Perhaps AI could search courthouses and find what it used to look like?Me?  I am impatient.  I have a copy of how it used to look.  Here goes!It was lovely, wasn't it!

Nice room, isn't it!  Well, it does look a little like snow on the chair and the floor.  No, it is not fake snow for atmosphere......it is REAL SNOW!  With the temperature in Searcy AR being about 13 degrees over the past hours and expected to be that for several days, one wonders who committed this crime!!  SNOW IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS HOUSE!  There is no roof over this area!I have had a long real estate career (over 40 years) and this is the only atrium that I have seen in Searcy AR. The owner loves the house and the atrium!  The house was built in 1968!I guess I am glad I don't own it right now!!  Do Searcy Sleuths know of another one??

Lovely Happy Anniversary Card.I am calling it a card but it is really about 20" x 28".  The photographs date back to around  1945 when he was fresh out of service and they were married.  In 1995 they had their 50th anniversary and that is probably when this gift card was made.  It is very attractive with the photos surrounded with the black lines that make them really stand out and then glued to the poster board. There is no date on the card and no formal signatures so we will not call names.  The card was left in a house and given to my daughter and me, both REALTORS.  The handsome couple has passed on and we think we know who the folks who gave it were.  But we are not sure. One thing we can't deny.  It is absolutely beautiful and a wonderful gift.

An estate sale visit cost me again.  I found several old bound copies of Harding's The Bison newspapers.  They were from back in the 70's and 80's.  This was an advertisement from September 13, 1985.Click here  to see the tribute that I made for her when she passed away in 2013.  This little ad above shows her creative and humorous nature and  reminds me of how much we still miss Tina Beavers DanielThe tribute has many pictures and you'll see lots of Searcy real estate agents in it.  Notice that in the ad she was Beavers.  Later she married Walt Daniel and we loved and respected Walt immediately and still do.  Here's that link again.https://activerain.com/droplet/6SSV

Found!  An old newspaper clipping of early voting.I stumbled upon this old clipping.  Don't we all clip family pictures from the newspaper?  How this one ended up on the front page of the local newspaper is a mystery BUT it means so much right now.  It makes us think of the good old days.....no masks......no safe distancing.....just stand in line to early vote.Another sad change from 2004 to 2020 is the demise of so many newspapers.  This one, The Daily Citizen, used to be delivered almost daily.  Now it is delivered three times a week by the US Post Ofice.  It is also very thin, almost no news, and still struggling to stay alive at all.Let's go back to the Good Ole Days!

Most creative mask in our Searcy AR RE/MAX office? We are open but must wear masks during our office attendance.  I met this scary guy in the hall yesterday!  After screaming, I asked if I could put his picture on my blog.....just for fun.  He replied, "Sure.  It will be good publicity and bring me business!"So here he is, John Holt, definitely our most creative agent who has come up with a most creative mask.  John is a music lover along the lines of  __________.   (Fill in the blank......I am not sure.)  He has a great sense of humor and we all love him.  And he also does a great real estate business.ORCould this mask be a form of vanity??

D for Duncan's?  Cheerleaders for PeeWee Football 1997.And who were they cheering for? Here they are.  1997 PeeWee Football players and their coaches.  See if you can find yourself if you were growing up at that time.  I believe the sponsor was Duncan's Chrysler Plymouth Jeep.
