Birmingham Alabama Short Sale:  SOLD JULY 2011 We closed on this short sale today almost exactly 3 months to the date after it went under contract.  Another one bites the dust! 2520 Avenue Y, Birmingham, AL 35208 I give applause to the selling agent for her patience and professionalism.  Knowing how lengthy the short sale process can be, she didn't feel the need to blow my phone up for 3 months straight.  During the entire three months, frankly I can't remember her calling me not one time.  If she did call, it must have been only once. Bham WIiRE Realty's First EVER First Time Home Buyer Seminar a SUCCESS We were very pleased with the turnout for our first EVER, First Time Home Buyer's Seminar.  It was an intimate crowd which meant that everyone received the personalized attention that they deserved. Funny Story:  Agents Never Return Phone Calls I am a property manager for an owner of a duplex that is currently listed for rent.  The owner was at the duplex a few days ago and said a guy came up to him for some info about the duplex. The guy said that he had tried to contact me but that I didn't answer the phone or didn't call back. I said "he called me?"  The owner says to me, "I knew he was lying about calling you when he said you didn't call him back."  He went on to say, "I know you well enough to know that you always return phone calls.  I've never known you not to return a phone call." Red Light, Green Light.  One of my clients has this traffic light hung up on their deck.  I thought it was the coolest thing.  I mentioned how cool it was, but had no idea that it actually worked so they plugged it in so that I could see.  Only one thing though:  When the yellow lights up, it lights up on all four sides.
