Dollar General May Be Putting More Food on 650 More Tables Last week Dollar General announced plans to build a distribution center in Bessemer, Alabama (a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama). Along with the distribution center will come 650 jobs.  That's good news in any economy but especially in an economy such as the one we are currently experiencing.
