In Simon and Garfunkel's "The Sounds of Silence," penned 60 years ago, lies a profound reflection of our modern communication. Today, as we grapple with a culture of surface-level interaction and fear-driven silence, the song's message resonates with urgency. In a moment of reflection, I realized the danger of our collective silence. With a pivotal election approaching, the reluctance to engage openly deepens societal divides. But avoiding conflict only allows it to fester. While I may not halt the march toward conflict alone, I commit to fostering genuine connections. Let's prioritize dialogue and listening, challenging our own perspectives for true understanding and progress.Read the full article here: https://applycommercialloans.com/the-sounds-of-silence/Contact Information:Karen Schi...

By Scott Garrison, Top ORLANDO AREA Realtor…this Realtor WORKS!
(Re/Max Town & Country Realty)
Although the majority of prospective Orlando area buyers (55%) are aware of the current challenging market, most of them (54%) still intend to stick to their current objectives or expedite the Central Florida real estate process!     According to Bank of America's 2023 Homebuyer Insights Report, many enthusiastic local homebuyers in Central Florida, particularly those in their 40s and younger, are moving forward with their plans to purchase homes even though they think the market is biased in favor of sellers.     Over half of those who were considering buying a home in the Orlando region who responded to the study (55%) said they thought the market was more competitive than it was the previous year. However, just as many (54%) said they wanted to buy sooner rather than later.     ...

Every year on April 15th and this year on Monday April 15, 2024, we celebrate the unofficial Happy National Tax Day to recognizes The United States enacted income tax with the 16th Amendment in 1913. At that time, the filing deadline was March 1. In 1918 the deadline was changed to March 15, and then in 1955, for the most recent change, the filing deadline was moved to April 15th.  The day has come to be known as Tax Day. D-u-u-u-u-de, take a hike! When a house is being shown, it's best that owners, family members and their guests leave the property to allow the buyers to move through without interruption. Otherwise, conversations may take place when a person remains... Example:An out-of-work, 50 year old artist (owner's son), is currently living on premises. His long, stringy hair and body odor reflected poor hygeine habits, sweat pants sagging off his butt, offering non-stop chatter. His presence was a distraction as potential buyers viewed the house.  His behavior became very telling, informing them that the last home inspection did not go well. As a matter of fact, he revealed private information, saying, "The last buyers really beat up the seller on repairs and they cancelled."  The comment was a su...

Good morning and hello again from Tim in sunny, mild Cottage Grove, MN.  Hope this email finds you doing well this Monday and had a wonderful weekend.  Wanted to share Tim's Time Outs: RESOURCEFULNESS: You time is limited, with ONLY so many available hours in each day(and in life itself)... Yet that can be a very good thing, IF you choose to see it as such.  It is precisely because your time is limited that you can motivate yourself to make the highest and BEST use of very moment.  Instead of wishing in vain for more time; you can find countless ways to get more value from the time you have.   Anything of value becomes more precious and more highly appreciated when it is in short supply and the more you appreciate it, the more value you're able to create from it.  That's why it is entir...
