There are two ways to do anything. We can do it in order to make life better for me, or we can do it in order to make life better for someone else, as well as for me.   I was reading Marie Shriver’s “The Sunday Paper” and read a quote from Sister Joan Chittister, a Benedictine Sister of Erie who walks the talk, of living with passion for God, justice and life.  This was her quote that spoke to me: "There are two ways to do anything. We can do it in order to make life better for me, or we can do it in order to make life better for someone else, as well as for me. The first way gets the thing done; the second way gets the thing done and makes life a sacrament." To me, this quote offers a thoughtful perspective on the motivations behind our actions and their deeper significance. Sister Chi...

Speechless Sunday: Double Done's with a few extras... I have always had extra food to prepare for a later meal. Needless to say, I made baked potatoes and kept them in the fridge for making a different meal.Well today I thought it would be fun to use my left-over baked potatoes as "Double Dones" and add the leftover vegies from the other day to it. Now with that said I needed to have some meat with it as well. Yes our new favorite chicken sausages were added and it was a total success. So with that said what did you have for dinner tonight? BTW for some reason my actual photos are not working so these photos were from a previous time but the same meal. Wishing you a safe and healthy life and I look forward to your comments. Oahu Housing Inventory SnapshotThe March 2024 Oahu Hawaii Housing Inventory Snapshot represents aggregated values based on Honolulu MLS data as of March 28, 2024, and shows that the Oahu housing market experienced notable trends and fluctuations across different property types. Average list prices have generally increased, particularly in the luxury single-family segment, indicating seller optimism regarding property values. However, average sold prices show more variability, with some property types experiencing declines. The luxury segment, despite longer days on market for single-family homes, demonstrates strong demand, reflected in rising prices. Additionally, while inventory has decreased in certain segments, a surge in regular condo/townhome listings suggests shifting market dyna...
