No.  My sphere knows where I stand on the issues already.  That's why they choose me.  I try to be as apolitical out in business as I can, but if you know me you'll know where I stand soon enough if you know what clues to look for or what related questions to ask.  Heck, anyone who reads my answers to questions such as Michael Elliot's question yesterday about "the biggest challenge that your market is currently facing?" knows what my political bent is.  They may not know that I'm proud to be a NIMBY, but they know I want a small government that handles the tasks of governing and protecting the citizens, not micromanaging our every moment and telling us what we can and cannot eat or use to heat our homes.

I can't say that I have been asked. And I avoid all conversations about politics and religion. If needed, I can change the subject quickly.

No. I've had many share theirs unsolicited; more this year than ever before.

I let people know that my services are for all and my choices are no one's business since they have no bearing on my real estate awesomeness.😉

Only once or twice years ago, and I just changed the subject. I'm happy to talk about it with friends or family if they want to have a discussion, but otherwise, nah.

No one has asked and I like to keep them guessing. 

I have always preferred to avoid the subject of politics with clients. 

I don't shy away from discussing anything with my clients if they bring it up.

It's never come up that I can recall.

Unless it is someone I know well I either avoid / dodge the subject or become a chameleon and give a yeah or yup and don't engage in the subject any further.

Hello Joan Cox in a few occasions clients engages in political conversation, I avoided and changed the conversation.

One look at my social media and no one has to ask.  I'm an open book if they do ask.  Don't like my politics and frankly I don't want you voting where I live, go live somewhere else.

I look forward in sharing my hope for the country, the state & the city I live in expressing good leadership, values & outcomes. I also respect people who become or practice passion whether for their religion or politics plus any other beliefs they may have. I made advancements decades ago in sharing objectively because I never approved or believed in suppression, hidden thoughts or feelings. Intimacy, to me, is a cherished value.

Somebody has to be the adult in the room, right?   

Not one of my favorite subjects but no, never been asked nor religion, sexual preferences, etc.  etc.  None of their beeswax.

I have clients who talk to me about politics all of the time. The funny thing is they all think I vote the same way they do! I just listen, nod and smile! If I disagree with them, it goes unspoken and they are oblivious!

Yes but not often. I try not to talk politics. I feel people are allowed to have their opinion even if it differs from mine.

No I never had.  I did have one gal try to talk into voting her way.  I simply said, I don't discuss politics with clients.  Nuf said.

I had my contractor ask me.   I said, what makes you think I'm one of the other.   He said well you work with nonprofits so I assumed you were a ......  I said I work with nonprofits because I'm a Christian and I'm trying to help people.  Nothing about politics.   BUT~ I'm a Realtor and I take VERY VERY seriously protecting people's private property rights.
