Home again, home again...

Unless the buyer's agent requests a final walk-thru, I do not schedule one.

About a week prior to closing I do reach out to the buyer's agent and ask them to let me know when they'd like to conduct their walk-thru... but if they don't follow-thru, it's not my job to pester them.

I do not schedule one. It's up to the buyers agent to request to schedule it. If I'm the buyers agent I have an Amendment for them to sign saying the accept the house upon final walk through.

The buyer agent always schedules... it's their walk-through with their client. And if they don't schedule, it's not my problem. Caveat emptor. I have been known if I'm speaking to the buyer agent shortly prior to closing to ask when they are thinking about doing a walk-through.

It is not my place to schedule inspections for another Agent's buyer.

Of course I stay in touch, and make sure the timing is acceptable and in compliance with whatever timeline or date is on the contract.

Not once did we schedule a buyers walk  through!  Happy to co-ordinate with the BA on the time.  And not once has a SA scheduled without me, a buyers final walk through. No that ain't going to happen!

No, as a listing agent, I wouldn't be scheduling the buyer walkthrough - that's for the buyer/buyer's agent to do.

Our purchase contract calls for a final walk thru, usually within 5 days prior to COE although that period is negotiable. We have the buyer (first) and seller sign a form after the walk thru. And from our purchase agreement: "Buyer shall have the right to make a final verification of the Property condition within the time specified NOT AS A CONTINGENCY OF THE SALE, but solely to confirm: (i) the property is maintained pursuant to (a separate paragraph in the contract that describes the condition of the property at close), (ii) repairs have been completed as agreed (assuming there was an agreement for some kind of repairs); and Seller has complied with Sellers' other obligations under this agreement.

So, no, as seller's agent I would not schedule the walk thru. I might attend so I am fully aware, but it is the buyer's agent responsibility to properly represent the buyer and to schedule the walk thru. It is also an option not to do a walk thru. Same form will be signed saying the buyer elected to skip it.

I let the buyers and their agent decide, coordinating with the seller. It's their appointment, their choice within reason.

Nope! Their client, their due diligence.  Our contract calls for them within 48 hours of closing.  The buyer's agent coordinates with their schedules.

Our Purchase agreement calls for a Final Walk Through within five days of the close of escrow.  I'll give the Buyer's Agent time to schedule the walk through but will call to remind them when there is a week or so left before the closing.

I do not. I have it on my calendar and if the buyer agent does not schedule the final walk - I send an email reminder.

We coordinate together, most Buyer's agent prefer to do the final walk just before closing. I am there just before they are finished, I make sure all is locked and bring keys to closing.

This is a choice for the buyers and their agents, we just hit approve on the showing time request.

I just send the BA an email to remind them to do it.  Most wait until the day or two before closing, as do I when I rep buyers, so we get in as close to COE as possible to avoid the potential for last minute undetected changes.

In our area it's up to the buyers' agent to schedule; as listing agent I accommodate by getting authorization from the seller for the specific time requested.

The buyer's agent schedules it. However, my transaction coordinator reaches out to see when it will be scheduled. It is typically the evening before or morning of closing.
