    But the question remains, "Why do Realtors continue to syndicate their listings to entities like Realtor dot com and Zillow; companies that are competing against those listing agents?"

It's our MLS that syndicates out. We need to get after our MLS's.

Yeah, I don't see a platform where that's actually worked before. Am I wrong? I had some B from R.com call me this past week, she left me a voicemail. Could barely speak English LOL

We have the ability to block syndication on our MLS.

But it's funny how clients freak out when you do as if Zillow is going to sell their home. We sold homes without Z in the 1990's and early 2000's just fine. Z created a cult of "Z-ombies". 👹👺🧌

I have not seen that particular video, but with Zillow racing to wipe us from the face of the earth, like their CEO did with travel agents (he founded Expedia), I wish there was a better way.

There was an anti-zillow movement that Thomas J. Nelson, REALTOR ® CRS,ABR,PSA,RCS-D, ePRO and I both championed on here many years back, but sadly it never took off.

Here we go again with realtor.com.  Made me laugh as I just saw an add yesterday on TV stating that it was the MOST trusted site of realtors. Give me a break.  That hasn't been true for years and years and years.  Such BS.

I am always amaze what comes up and we are to support some of them.

The main problem I think with syndication is, our brokers get to decide what sites the agents can or can't use.

No longer a member and no longer. following a lot of issues. 

I'm not sure of this source and the ramifications of what he's referring to.  I didn't think the site was meant for making an offer.
