The average home price is between 400-500k. A smart builder here built a 1,644 square feet home, 4/2 at 389,900 and they all went pending within a week. The average current listings $519,000, the median is $455,000.

Median $359,900 and it's down 7.7% over last year!

From June 1st to today, per our mls, in Fremont, Ca. where my office is, there have been 175 closed sales of detached homes, condos and townhouses with an average sale price of $1,661,703 vs. list of $1,537, 741.

In the State Capital of Sacramento, there were 539 sales with an average sale price of $557,214. 

In Atherton, CA. a upscale S.F. Peninsula town, there houses often sell off-market, there were 16 sales on mls with an average sale price of $12,118,500.

600k-700k plus and we are not talking premium just affordable

In the May report for Denver, it was - Average closed price was 733,020 which is up 3.6%.   Median price was 602,500, which is up 1.3%.

Average sold price in last 6 months is $593,000 and average list price is $863,000. today.

In Austin TX the average home price is $548,654 (as of June 2024). It varies in different communities. In the community I service the average home price is $776,833 (as of the Second Quarter in 2024).

Charlotte's market is still on the rise (nearly $550K) - up 8.3% year-over-year.

June 2024 the average home price in Bend Oregon was $969,547.

Very high/the highest ever. The average price for a single-family home in Los Angeles County is around $1,200,000 to $1,400,000. Prices can vary significantly depending on factors such as location (e.g., Westside, Eastside, San Fernando Valley), size of the home, condition, and neighborhood amenities. The average price for a condominium (condo) in Los Angeles County is approximately $700,000 to $800,000. Condo prices also vary based on location within the county, amenities offered by the building, size of the unit, and HOA fees, etc. 

I'm guessing $300,000 in the Minot North Dakota area.

It varies greatly between city, suburbs, and rural.  As do our buyers.

We are up over $550,000 in Aurora, Co. area.

For my county the Wake county average was $471k for the month of June according to Wake Gov recordings. I pulled my town which is Cary and the average for June sales was $719,473 and the average for list price is $918,004.

Chicagoland is around $360,000. That said few neighborhoods have pricing that low. The average is lower due to many lower priced areas. 

     Aroostook County is the lowest median priced for buying a house. The average price is $158,132 and house sales are down over 16% due to sold out, lack of inventory.

     House prices in Aroostook County are up 1.80% this year compared to last Shayne Stone. Land of all type is a bargain. Less people, more space, cheaper house price tags in rural areas of Maine.

Median sale price in Manhattan is $1.22m and June median price per sq ft is $1,411.  These prices are approximately the same as 8 years ago. Given all of the taxes and regulatory/compliance issues added in the last 8 years- it's not unexpected that prices have remained steady.

Shane, so far this year we have had over 800 closed sales in Tippecanoe County (home of Purdue University) with the following stats:

Average sales price and days on market:  $323,688  and 22 DOM

Median sales price and DOM:                     $292,000  and   5 DOM

Inventory continues to be very tight.
