I have many items that I received over the years.

An insulated beverage can holder, from an insurance agent, that I have been using for 15 years just fell apart. My wife has used an insulated beverage glass, from a title company, for over 15 years for her iced tea.

I appreciate getting things that I would actually use, most pens are cheap, but sometimes there is a really good one, haha.  The coffee mugs I had made are really nice, I made sure to get something that I would use myself.

Although I've received a ton of schwag over the years, this answer is easy. This "lava lamp" actually consists of a bunch of tiny silver objects shaped like houses. It was given to me by my Acct Executive at Long Beach Mortgage (the Subprime division of Washington Mutual) in 2004. 20 years old and still lighting up my man cave in style!

I've kept nothing except pens and highlighters! And if some stuff starts "hanging around" my office, when I find it during a cleanup, it gets tossed. I can't tell you how many water bottles, mousepads, etc. I've thrown out over the years.

Most of the swag we receive is the same, and a large portion of it finds its way into the hands of my adult children.  Very little of it is creative or interesting (lots of pens and keychains), but the occasional stainless steel travel mug, cutco knife or pizza cutter, and/or leather business card holder stands out.

First Republic sent me the best swag. I still regularly use the umbrella and the insulated water bottle. Most of the swag I have received in general is useless- but I sure appreciate the notebooks- simple but useful.
