Personally (no reflection on your wings) as a former bar DJ where wings, fried mozzarella sticks  peanuts, pretzels and popcorn were the norm at the free-food buffets; I am so over all - borderline hate the smell of wings, especially since I know too much about their origin (bar level) and quality or lack there of. 🤢

They are getting invited to a party where there will be food and football and they are getting a repeat invite. That's great! As my mother and father used to say "don't look a gift horse in the mouth" meaning don't find fault when getting a gift.  I'm thinking they should be thankful for what they're getting. Or tell them to pick up some wings on the way and you'll all enjoy them!
