Chef Dolores picked up the groceries that she ordered online this morning before it got really hot. We will spend most of the day in the air conditioned comfort of our home. 

Homes are air conditioned, cars are air conditioned, stores are air conditioned. Not that difficult to stay cool.

I am not back east.  We are having heat waves here in San Jose, CA as well. 

This week it is cooling to the low 90s.  I turn on my AC and keep all the window coverings closed. 

My car has AC and just about everywhere else I may need to go has AC except for my local pet store.  It was very hot and stuffy when I was there on Monday. 

I am only a little East of you so I know you didn't mean me Will Hamm BUT my answer is I take my clothes off.  Of course if I am working I wear shorts and a very lightweight polo or dress shirt.

It's not just the East suffering from heat and humidity!  Stay safe everyone!

Stay indoors, take a dip in a pool (public or private) or go to the mall or have lunch inside the restaurant. If all fails, fill the tub, add ice to your drink and to the water and pretend you're on vacation!

It has to be above 115 degrees for me to complain.

Between Napa, CA, Glendale, AZ and Palm Desert, CA - I'm soooo used to the heat. But in San Diego, we just go to the beaches, lakes, pools and rivers.

I am outside staining the cedar on the house and have the hose to drink and occasionally give myself a soaking!

I'll give you a tip living in a high heat area north of Los Angeles.  First of all get outside and let your body acclimate to the weather conditions.  Second, drink water even if you're not thirsty.  Third, set your air conditioner to about 83-85 degrees so you don't become dependent on a low temperature and last of all, turn off the air and breath fresh air once the outside temperature is bearable. 

It is so warm here that the water in our bird bath this morning practically scalded the feathers off the little creatures!  It took running the hose for 10 minutes to finally get some cool water to replenish it: could have made a proper cup of tea from the hose prior!!  I can take a lot of heat but the humidity cripples most of us. 

My wife is visiting family in the Boise, ID. area where the temperature has been hitting a daily 100 degrees or so.

Yet, here in South end of  the San Francisco East Bay, it is in the mid-70s today and not expected to exceed 80 for the next week or so. Sure, it does get warmer here from time to time but I do not have A/C, so I just open the windows and let the dependable breeze in.

Over 90 today in my part of SoCal... and for the last several days.  AC has been getting a workout for sure!

Use my A/C! I don't own an electric car, so I will only using my fair share of electricity.. 

All I can say is I'm glad I moved out of the east.

I appreciate air conditioning more and more as I get older and the world gets warmer.

Cant wait for fall.

it was only 91.  It's summer.  I love summer.

I did not go out today Will. I finally turned on the A/C. The heat & humidity is hard on my breathing. Have the VA looking at that

It's going to be a hot one this weekend for sure!

I will be doing the things I do everyday. I will work here in my air conditioned office and enjoy the beautiful sunny view. I'm meeting another agent for coffee this morning, doing a buyer consult this afternoon, preparing for a listing consult, working on my CSHP designation, then going for a facial this afternoon. We all have air conditioned homes, cars, and businesses so it will be fine. 

AC in the house; AC in the car.  The evening was beautiful outside after the sun dipped a bit.  The REAL summer heat feels great! 

Jersey we hit 100 yesterday, 94-99 all week long. High humidity and it rained last night no relief still hot and humid. The A/C on non stop and drinking a lot of water. 

We hydrate, stay in AC and in the pool; limit outdoor activities to early am or evening, when it's cooler.
