No. And depending on their response to that, I may block them. LOL I've gone back into blocked messages and found "Okay I'll do it your way" but by then I am long gone. I don't like being devalued by ANYONE. I don't care if it's a negotiation, I'm always willing to walk and that can be the strongest position of all! 

I have been known to tell clients "Keep your hand outta my pocket, and I'll keep others' hands out of yours!"

Let's do the math. May I take out a sheet of paper. We are partners in this venture. You want net proceeds and I want the commission I earn. If I cut my commission by "X" the discount is "Y" percentage of normal. I can do it if you partner with me and drop your price by"Y" percentage. Do we have a deal?

Do you really want an agent that will sell themselves out, knowing that they will likely sell you out when the going gets tough.

Or do you want a great negotiator working on your side of the table?

It is the negations, I negotiate. 

I explain how the commission is shared between two offices and that I pay for virtual tours and all other fees.  I try not to lose the listing over the commission as I know there's always a good agent willing to take the listing a a discount price.  I am realistic.

If already signed up I say: Yes, but only if you can lower your price by a corresponding percentage. If not signed yet then the answer will be NO then GOODBYE.
