OK, so let me share something. I moved to Montana 2 years ago, and the only agent I knew here said "Do Not Do Postcards - they do not work here". Well... I started a very specific targeted postcard campaign and sold 4 listings last year as a result and have 2 listings ready to go when the snow melts.... So...Don't listen to the naysayers, the post cards might work. Try it. 75 Cents sounds a little high- I'm not familiar with Wise Pelican (but will check them out) but take a look at vistaprint and expresscopy also....

Are they 6 by 9 double-sided color? If so $0.75 including postage is good. I use My Neighborhood Agent and they run sales all the time, so they can be a lot less than that. I definitely swear by postcard mailings. Always get listings from them.

I recommend Vistaprint. The heaviest stock they have. Don't do EDDM. Don't print bulk mail on the back side. DO print thousands, as much as you can afford. Besides mailing hire a teen to door drop. Stack a few at your dry cleaner, hardware stores, and anywhere someone allows. Pretty photo of beautiful wholesome woman with a baby in front of house in Antelope Valley. "Jim just sold our house for highest price in XYZ call for the program" Babies, dogs, happy houses don't get thrown out as fast...

Not familiar with this company.
I am all for postcard mailing / farming. But it may take time to see a return. You need to commit to the long term. Consistent, and frequent mailouts. Stay in touch with your people!

Jim don't know about this particular company. What I do know is plan on a committed campaign for at least a year to start gaining a lot of traction. Of course that all depend on your neighborhood and how well you are known right now there. Good luck with it!

Jim,
I am not familiar with this company. We find that local printers have good prices, and since we finicky, I like to check on how they look, before a whole batch goes out. Like Kat Palmiotti said, it should targeted. A

I've heard of them, but have no experience with them. What I do like is that they don't insist on a minimum mailing, which many companies do.

I am a big proponent of using local companies. Surely your city has a local print shop and mail house that can help you.
You can't say you support the local community, if you opt to use an internet based company rather than one that is owned by and employs people who live in your city.

I have heard of them & the price seems good for each piece. Don't forget that postage is increasing all the time.
Some of the companies just don't have good real estate related material. So keep shopping until you find a format you like.

It is essential that if you use a postcard campaign that you do it regularly and consistently. Otherwise it's a waste of time and money.

The method of marketing is less important than the message and follow-up.
If the message is "Thinking of buying/selling call Jim" success will be measured in single digits. BUT one $15,000 outcome in a 5,000 mailing and by any business standard, that is SUCCESS. Spend $3,750 to make $15,000. Every business owner will say that is how success is spelled.
However, that is a .002% response rate. A failure by marketing standards but still the results are spendable.
Consider the prime objective is LIST BUILDING. Once you have a list, marketing costs go down and response rate will reflect area mobility.
I offered via postcard a copy "Bailey Bluff - from slave camp to cush." The response rate was significantly more that .002. IN addition, mechanisms were in place to track to the address all responses. Well, I did have to write the book.
Partnering with the local Yogart shop presents exceptional list building opportunities.
Finally, if an agent must focus on the 90 market, the message must be more urgent, more controversial. Controversial means entering the conversation the recipient is already having. iBuyers, investors, HOAs, anything in the news are good RED-LETTER subjects if a problem is defined and one solution suggested. There is a lot of traction in challenging the common definition for Affordable Housing. The response will be to read the other four points the agent chose not to put on the post card.
LIke the local news, "For the rest of the story go to our website."
Self-selection mechanism will allow you to sort responses from 'good neighbor," to "URGENT." And this allows the assignment of the appropriate nurture program.
In my opinion, before the first post card is sent, the sociology and infrastructure must be in place.
Plan properly then DO IT!

When sending out mailers, I have a local printer that can get it done quickly. Give them a try and see if they suit your needs. If they do the design and send them out, that looks reasonable to me. When you mail postcards, make sure you send them out regularly so people will recognize your brand. The best to you Jim!
