Yes, I do have issues with this. I believe there are privacy issues at play here. It is one thing when you use fake addresses, etc. but a whole different level when you're using real addresses. On occasion I have past clients call to ask if I can remove their house photos from the internet. I cannot take them down. Our MLS may need new privacy rules about who can use photos and data. I can see lawsuits happening over this.

The Metaverse is an odd place in which to live.

I have a HUGE problem with this, this is tantamount to digitally claiming ownership of a property that IS NOT THEIRS.

We already have title fraud, this is not innocuous.

The ONLY home anyone should be using in these games should be legit owned by them and that is idiotic too.

Where there is a will there is a way. Not for me but some often take the low road!

Well I 'm not sure and I will take time later to come back around and read the article.  What I do know is the FB (Meta) stock is down 25% this morning after a horrible last quarter.  We'll see where it all goes.....massive sell off.

I believe that there will eventually be a class action lawsuit to prevent photos being permanently  displayed online.  Too many people continue to complain and I can't say that I blame them for wanting them taken down.  Virtually Tours are also included in this objection.

The metaverse will likely open up many more privacy issues like this. Hopefully they will offer options to opt out in a similar manner that you can blur your homes photo on Google Map.
