I just happened to think you'll need these. This is really a good idea. People think packing up is such a hassle. All you need is tape & a box.

It just has to be done with tack.

It is a good idea. And, it is a good time for garage sales.

Peter  I've brought boxes to clients many times to make it easier for them.  Not one of them thought it was  being forward.   We always have the 'talk' upfront as to what needs to happen before going on market. 

Sounds like a good, helpful gesture; hope it's taken that way.

Good idea if done with the right personal approach. Be careful not to be insulting.

Your job is to sell the property. A helpful hint about having it ready to show is sometimes a necessity. Not forward, more like professional.

I have a listing now where house and land need decluttering. Piles of junk outside, every room packed inside. I just helped seller load 14' trailer. Need continuous supply of boxes. Constant reminders needed, so you're not being forward, just realistic, but I would ask first.

Remember; "A faint heart has never been with a fine lady" or vice versa

That pile of boxes may add to the clutter if they are not ready willing and able to use them.

You would have to know your client.  I just closed on a big house for a gentleman who is downsizing.  His friends organized a rental house for a month where all the stuff will be going on an estate sale, rather than going through the trauma of seeing all his stuff being pawed through.  I thought that was a great idea. 

If I were the home seller, I would get a new agent in less than a heartbeat.
All human action is driven to avoid shame and you dumped it at the front door.
What would I do.
Same pile of boxes, a commitment for pizza delivery, work clothes and gloves and asking the homeower, "Where do you want me to start?"
That leads to creating the plan and process.
After that, they will prove more than able.
Of course you get that selfie interveiw with the capption. 'DOES your agent do this for you?"
