I have closed two deals where the buyer has used Rocket Mortgage and both times was a great experience. 

It seems to blow up here!

Looks like Fred has you covered.    Have heard some having a bad experience with Rocket Mortgage.

As far as I know, Quicken has officially changed its name to Rocket as of sometime this past summer. I've done a couple of sales for listings where the buyers used Rocket and can't complain about the experience.

Quicken still operates the name and charges lenders to advertise rates, while RKT holdings owns both Rock and Quick in a Michigan Corp. Both companies are open and active.  They also sell real estate, title, and insurance. Have six local lending flavors and have great experience with local lending that offer all the same mortgage products. With a shortage of appraisers, with AMC's requiring a kick back of 15% "service fee", local lending works best to avoid delay. To actually get to the real estate closing on time or at all is my experience.

I don't know the answer, but I thought rocket mortgage was just a gimmick that quicken loans used for marketing.

I havent a clue about the workings of this company.

I was impressed last week when visiting a fsbo site to find that it was little more than a funnel for rocket loans and rocket homes.

Had a first t😎ime buyer come with a preapproval from Rocket.  I suggested he obtain two more quote and ask all three for estimaed closing costs.  Guess what...Rocket lost out

Hello Peter, it appears that both are the same mortgage company.

They are blended. These guys keep calling me every 2 weeks or so to work out a partnership. No  thanks. 

Just a name change.

I think they re-branded as Rocket.

We cross qualify all that use Rocket Mortgage, but have accepted offers using them. The deals were normal to a couple late, but it's borrower that gets the customer experience. Our deals closed so as much as I smirk at the name and concept, I can't share any recent bad experiences.

No experience with Rocket Mortgage. And not a fan of Qualified Rate Field as a Chicago boy.

This is the perferct example of the tail taking over the dog.
Rocket started off on such a solid pyschological foundation in understanding their consumer their success in meeting expectations exploded and the tail becomes the face of the company.
