I do not begrudge others their success. Whether they are lottery winners, entrepreneurs, inventors, investors...the benefits that the reap were never mine. I need to make my own way and succeed and be happy based on what I due and accomplish.

Absolutely.  I feel so much joy and happiness for others.  Why not - the feelings are so positive and powerful ... it feels GOOD. 

I wouldn't begrudge anyone their happiness and I'm always happy for my family, friends and clients' good fortune.

I think there are a couple people I know, including one Midwest sour puss AR member I imagine (not wish) eternal misery on, but that is just a guilty pleasure 😈 to make me laugh when they act a fool. 🤡

I believe in karma so I don't spend time in scarcity or envy-mode. Be happy for others' good fortune, they will be happy for you when good fortune smiles on you too...and if not, you still have your good fortune inspite of them. 😃

One of the "codes of mindful action" from my martial arts days was "I am as enthusiastic about others fulfillment as I am about my own, I avoid treating other's successes as the cause of my lacks."  I also subscribe to the philosophy that "there is enough business out there for everyone."

That's something I've incorporated into my life for 20+ years now and boy does it confuse the competition!  I get weird looks from time to time from other agents when I congratulate someone who gets a listing I was up for.

This is not always true in some real estate offices.

I am always so happy when my friends and family succeed, especially when they do things the right way.  I am not happy when I know someone has lied, cheated, or stolen to achieve success.

I am generally a happy person and I am happy for others no reason not to be. I also believe in karma so no point in me bringing negative thoughts for others into my life.

If you are happy, then I am happy!

Someone else finding happiness, however that comes about, does not diminish happiness for me.  There is not a limited amount of happiness in the world.  It is boundless.

I've never seen the sense of begruding someone their fortune or luck. I'd want others to be happy for me is I was the one who came into the good luck.

I love celebrating good luck or when someone gets their portion.  We all work so hard and it is rewarding to see others do well.  It is inspirational!

There is no other way to be except to wish people well and encourage their growth and happiness! 

We have all read "How to Win Friends and Influence People" coming away with the knowledge of acknowledging and celebrating the victories of others.
However, that whole concept did not change anything in me until I started running. It starts with the 5K's and 10 Ks and halfs. Everyone of those has predictale 'demons' that must be overcome to finish. Then comes the marathons and ultras. These are the one where first-timers sit trailside in tears of pain with legs that won't work.
The running community understands the cost of success. When another crosses the finish line it is known what demons they overcome and the singlness of purpose that got them to that checkered line.
So when I meet or read someone described as an overnight success, I know overnight is 20 years long and filled with demons to be vanquished.
When I enter into their joy, their success, I also understand this individual has made an investment, a commitment to the community and people that surround them.
I find it hard not to rejoice.

If you are happy with yourself, you should be able to join in on others' success or good luck.   Laura (my agent) is having a great closing today, and very happy for her!  

I am honored and really love when friends, family, clients, and colleagues share their success me! 

My vocation revolves around coaching others to meet their goals and dreams and it brings joy to me to see them succeed.

There is a team of agents that work 24/7 in my office, and kill it. I have total respect for them, I don't want to work 24/7 this point in my life, I need my weekly board meetings. I can rejoice for people when they take it to another level, and put in the work.
