I am not fond of "shoulding" - however, I will say if anyone is using a glamour shot it more likely than not would be most appropriate to update the photo that can also be found on the AARP website.

I don't do woulda, shoulda, coulda ;)  You change your photo whenever you feel like changing it, no rules for me.  I've looked the same forever, up or down a few pounds, different hair, change of colour . . . I still get recognized by people I went to Grade 5 with, ha ha

How often do they change the Morton's Salt Girl?   Or Aunt Jemima?   

For branding purposes, not very often.   

But of course, those are fictional characters who never age.

For example, less hair for men or change of hair color or style for the ladies.

If they do not recognize you at the grocery store, you need an update.
