Hi Marte... welcome to the club! Just check out some of my questions in the past week indicating my frustration with the formatting here in the Rain. Sadly, this is what we get these days. Unless you have some knowledge of html code and can edit your html code you will continue to have a problem until someone wakes up and does something to fix the issue. You, my friend, are not doing anything wrong.

Marte, whatever the Dev Team is doing - working on has wonked-out the formatting. For many, the cure is to edit the html code. 

You are not alone. It is not you. Many others have cited issues with formatting as well as their frustration and unhappiness with it. 

Marte, I'm only writing a post a week, but I found I had to double enter after sentences/paragraphs to break up the wall of words that was coming out.
I also went in the html and changed the font size to something I preferred over the three default options in the editor.

Marte - you are not alone although that doesn't make the situation any less frustrating.  

Hello Marte Cliff  lately, a few changes in publishing a post. 

If typing it up in Word you may be picking up some hidden formatting.

Highlight the text, then click the Tx button on the toolbar to delete all the formating.

Hey Marte! Well, I have had the same issues. With regards to the photos, try upoloading them as featured graphics only. 

The other trick I have learned is that, hitting enter TWICE when going to a new paragraph is what it takes to get that white space. Like you, I'm all about the white space!

Marte, it has been frustrating of late to post anything!   Double-space the paragraphs, and it will give you some white space.

I have been copying and pasting the HTML code from previous posts as a template for new posts, so I think mine continue publishing with the correct format.

Rest assured it's not you! I wonder if anyone can post these days without some sort of difficulty with the formating - spacing, font sizes, etc., etc. It's frustrating for us all and I feel particularly sorry for those who are new!

Posting has become a bit of a challenge. 

It is definitely not you of all people! I don't have a clue but many are experiencing the same issue as you. Believe from earler "questions" tht the issue has beem passed to "development" by "support"!

Marte, Once written, I select all of the type and then click on preferred size. It corrects the size and then I go back in and click enter twice to put space between paragraphs. It has worked for me.

I just posted and I had to double space between paragraphs, because the editor didn't match the published post. I used to post more a few years ago, but the website started looking seriously neglected so I only come on about once a week.
