Having the person in there is likelyl a violation of some obscure MLS rule.  The fully furnished part isn't a problem for me, especially if it were a second home.

Peter,

In our experience in Florida resort communities the majority of residences are sold with the furniture.  I have no problem with people's tastes.  Some will like it and some will not.  A

The home comes with the kid 😀

Actually, I have seen some overseas ad that the home comes with a wife.  There's also a photo of a woman 😉

I just haven't seen an ad that the home comes with a husband (yet) 😂

Many second homes and vacation homes are sold fully furnished. They usually do not include the problem child that you are trying to unload or the neighbor kid who is always hanging around.

There's got to be a rule about not having kids in the MLS photos.  Whoever thought this is cute, is mistaken, IMHO.

I'd focus on the actual house, then worry about what furnishing to keep, trash, sell, or donate later. Personal property has nothing to do with value of house and land.

Peter Mohylsky. Broker Associate I'm not a fan of buying a house with someone else's furnishings.

It's like buying Seinfeld's smelly car; you may never be able to get rid of the previous owner's stink. Yuck!!!

Depends Peter Mohylsky. Broker Associate In my area heirs attempt to sell with furnishings that 50 years young and no improvements to the space.  I would then vote NO!  If, in fact, this is the photo of your listing, I would ask seller to remove the clutter and personalizations "K" and go for it.😎

We are NOT in the furniture business; we transact in real estate. The rest is between the buyer and the seller. The buyer has no obligation to accept the furniture. For us to negotiate armchairs and sofas is a slippery slope.
