The owner, Ben Kinney, has been on several of our weekly Zoom calls explaining his vision for the platform and what's being done about the tech issues. He understands our frustrations and is trying to address those while moving toward his long-term goal.

I'm not going to get caught up too much in what WAS to accept that changes could be just as good or better for the future.

Yes I would, yes we have. There are zoom meetings that you could attend that would help you know the progress or lack of it.

I am appauled at some of my comrades here who think they deserve input & personal preferences but do not pay for the system. 

I'm not interested in hearing what everyone thinks is their 'personal' improvement. I'd like this to work, I'd like that ..... I want blue .... no I want yellow!

Nobody is thinking the bigger overall picture.

Surveys in my opinion are for the most part are a giant waste of time.  Ron and I get surveys for many things.When we bought our car in November we had 6 surveys sent to us, then the airlines had surveys when we flew to FLA for a biz meeting, the hotels we stay at, the car rental...We delete, delete, delete...Then there are the ones that send us $! for our troubles...My time is worth more than that.  We give that $ away.    And the paper goes into the shredder.  A

I think providing feedback directly to Ben Kinney is the way to go. We've been discussing these kinds of things on the zoom calls. His next one is April 27th.

As Carol Williams has said, Ben has been on several of the zoom calls (I can recall 4 or 5), once per month, sharing his vision and listening to our complaints/issues.  He's been bringing in developers to listen and take note of the issues.  Changes do happen.  The weekly update from the developers is an example of something several of us (myself included) asked for on the last call and they implemented right away.

Andrew Mooers | 207.532.6573 you were attending AR zoom calls early on.  I believe you dropped off prior to Ben making his appearance and sharing thoughts and ideas from us members and Ambassadors.  Already Ben has put a team of developers in place as part of the big picture to become the premier go to place for all real estate news.  Hope to see you return😎

Surveys definitely have a place.  Unfortunately that place is often the circular file.  Unfortunately.  And fortunately.  It's a toss up.  And that is what makes the circular toss such a viable option.   

If Active Rain conducted survey of our experience, yes I would complete it.  If a random Active Rainer started a survey about a business in which he was not a decision maker, I would not complete it.

I'm the kind of person who doesn't complain to my neighbors about potholes - I call the streets department and ask them to fix it.  That approach has been pretty effective for me so far.

That's been happening for months now on a weekly Zoom meeting. The owner has attended several meetings to share his vision and asked us what do you guys think - I want your options. The development team attends the calls with Ben as well. 

The overall direction of the platform has been decided.  Everyone on the Zoom call likes the direction and believes it will recover the SEO and become a go-to place for Real Estate News. 

The only issue many of us have with the new default is the light font color. We hope eventually it will be much darker. 

I would respond to an AR survey and I think things are being done that will certainly improve AR and have it as the place to be for the real estate industry once again.

The AR site is getting an overhaul and feedback is already being given to the techies. Ben has been dedicated to getting it up to speed for us Andrew! 

The word "feedback" is revealing. Someone feeds us something and we feed it back. Leaders, explorers and seekers do this and always get a return. I beleieve INPUT here in the rain has played out. Putting legs on input remains

This has been going on since last fall Andrew via zoom meetings with Ben about once a month or so.  Join us.

I think a lot of feedback has been provided and listened to, primarily on teh zoom calls with management that have occurred monthly.  They've been great, and even better is that they're taking quick action to make updates and improvements.  I've been almost an "anti-ambassador" the past couple years, but am once again excited for where things are headed

I could provide lots of advice but nobody has ever asked for it and many would not agree with some of my suggestions.

Most things are great here however a stable platform is also important.

Best to make all the changes in the background platform before sharing them on the public platform.

And it would be nice if there was a way to roll things back in case an upgrade has unexpected consequences.

Bullying of new members has also been a problem, perhaps some sort of sensitivity training for our members would be a good idea.

I think they have been listening and adapting. Rome was not built in a day! No survey necessary.
