I niether expect nor want gifts from my broker. At the end of the day, I have everything I need in life. A card with a personal note is more than enough.

This may be COVID speak but, how about a nice bottle of wine from a local vineyard?!
Maybe even with a cheese platter?
I give a lot of Yetis as gifts - if they are water-drinkers, a 30-oz Yeti is a great gift that they will use year-round. A 10-oz coffee tumbler for the coffee drinkers is also a nice gift - perhaps with a pound of coffee?

I wouldn't want anything at the end of the year, I would prefer having solid support throughout the year and fees that are fair.

Something like customized notecards would be nice. You could use them to write notes to your sphere.

I've always enjoyed getting and giving coffee mug sets in festive baskets with a pound of coffee beans and maybe some sweet treats inside. Maybe pop a gift-card in one of the mugs if you want to "go bigger $". I use a local roaster, as it makes it special and more thought out than Starbucks or Peets.

IF I were associated with a broker I would not want an end-of-year gift from my broker. What I would want, and rarely got, was year-round support and for the Broker to care about their agents and their agents' clients ... not just their own bottom line.
It is very sweet of you and your giving heart to want to do that. Keep in mind that one size does not fit all. Some people don't each chocolate, drink wine, eat cheese ... know what your agents like and make the gift personal.

As a managing broker of more than one office, gifts to agents for the holidays were not in the cards. That said I worked hard to do what Brian England put forth!

I think it's wonderful you are considering providing gifts to your agents. I'm sure anything would be good!
As for me, I don't want or need anything from my broker as a year end gift.
I used to get chocolate from one broker. Everyone did. A thick chocolate bar of some sort. I don't eat chocolate. I just gave it away.

with 567 agents....I send out gifts of value to my agents....books, subscriptions, coaching, etc.... I look at the agent and decide what is best for them....I stay away from gift cards as I do not believe in them and frankly it is the biggest scam in business today. My goal is to teach the agent how to appreciate more and more often and if successful that gift assists them throughout the year....

Maybe you can waive your fees for their next transaction. If it's not financially reasonable to waive your fees entirely, you can give them a specific discount. That is something that would let them know you appreciate them. It has great value to them. Everyone would like it (some people don't like wine, coffee, or whatever you pick). You may want to set a time frame on redeeming this. For example, it has to be redeemed in the first quarter of 2021. That way, the person who sells one house every three years doesn't cause an accounting/remembering issue.

As a broker my gifts to my agents are each very personal. Generally speaking something that by observation and listening that I have determinted they want, but are not going to buy for themselves. And I have a personal relationship (friends, beyond professionalism) with each and every agent that has ever been in my employ.

Let your agents know you went through what they went through and share your secret to your durability.
Give them a Magnum of wine. It can be the grade above the cheap stuff....after all it was about enduring, not celebrating. You could even have it 'White Labeled' with 2020 appearing in the image of a rear view mirror.
If they can't get the message, well, don't sweat the small stuff. Life is to short not to TRY to have fun.
OR, have a T made with their picture (small) on the front...
with an arrow above pointing up, presumabley to a masked face, with the text "THIS IS ME" and name below image.
Again, let's try to have fun.

A gift from your broker.....now that's a new one. I was a broker of many agents and we didn't do individual gifts. We did however have a lovely holiday dinner together.

Gift cards to local businesses.
Our downtown association offers gift cards that are good to several local businesses. I want my clients to support local, and I want them to know I do too

There was a time when I did have a Broker, I didn't want or expect anything. Their support through the year was what I wanted and sadly, did not get.
