Hi Will- by law in our state you have to wear one if you go into a business or if you're outside where there are a lot of people around. I was out and did wear my mask.

I have it on all the time Will Hamm .  Many sellers require that buyers and their agent wear a mask and not to touch anything in the house.  Home builders also require everyone to wear a mask and only a few people can get into the house at a time.  

Nope. I have no plans to be around people today...other than my bride. When we walk our dog, its very socially distant, borderline isolated, so I never  wear a mask in our neighborhood. yes I do. Can't go in most stores without one. I feel bad for the poor store clerks that are getting beat up & spit on from those that don't want to.

Only in businesses that require it and if I'm showing property and homeowner requests it.  Outside, nope.

I wear one in businesses that request I do.  I wear one in homes I'm showing that request I do.  But beyond that I do not.  I'm certainly NOT wearing one outside in GA in 100 degree heat.

I will when I go downstairs to my car. It's the law here, and the main reason we are doing so well in NY.  And, its a sign of respect.  I will remove once I'm in my car. I will not be wearing one at my parent's house.  We are celebrating their 52nd anniversary outside and 6 feet apart.

As I've said many times before - whether I believe the politics of the pandemic, I do not want to have made ANYONE ill or worse yet, die from my being stubborn about wearing a mask. I couldn't live with myself if either of those things happened.

Yes. I keep them in my pocket, truck, car, house. I wear them when I'll be around other people. I don't wear them if I'm hiking by myself.

It depends.  If I'm going for a walk around the hood and not within 6 feet (or 20, or 100) of another person, no.  If I'm going to a store or area where I expect to be in close proximity to others, then yes.

Now of course the usefullness of masks is questionable.  The CDC has reported that the non-n95 masks (surgical, bandana, etc.) are as good as not wearing a mask at all.  N95s have been proven to allow smoke through and even allow you to blow out candles.  So I have my doubts about their usefullness.

Of course, I've also gone through training on hazmat decontamination and have been in the full on sealed up suits with powered air personal respirators ("PAPRs") on multiple occassions for training, so I know what proper protection looks like.

In the open air, no but observe distancing...inside it is now a mandate in my state, is it legal? I don't think so but being the mannerly gentleman I am, I willingly accommodate to respect others more fearful than myself and proprietors of business.

I believe personal responsibility is a better response.

Obesity is the gateway behavior to all 'at risk' groups.

Maintain a healthy body, ones personal responsibility, and then imposing on me is justifiable. I resist being imposed upon to accommodate the irresponsible lifestyles of others.
But I will wear a mask to comfort others while waiting for the personal responsibility message to resonate.

Obesity and slothfulness....what did people expect the outcome to be? Perhaps CARING means intervening when others are living a destructive lifestyle and barreling into the 'most vulnerable' classification.

The great state of NH has no such law. So when I am walking by myself, no mask needed. Going out for a bike ride, no mask needed. Sitting on a rock watching teh waves, no mask needed. When i go an appointment, i have my mask. When i go to a store, i have my mask, but it is rare to go to a store now as i try to stay out of them unless it is a non busy time and i really need something. 

Absolutely! The mask has become a staple. I have many!

Yes.  Here's something to think about for all of you who think masks are silly... If you have ever lived where it gets really cold and you can see your breath, then you can easily visualize how tiny virus particles can blow through the air.  Maybe this is why people from the southern states don't get it?

I completed 40 hours of online training on infection control. Then I wrote an Infection Control Policy for my business.

I wear a mask with a minimum rating of
ASTM Level 1 (BFE >= 95%, PFE >= 95% @ 0.1 microns) or
ASTM Level 2 (BFE >= 98%, PFE >= 98% @ 0.1 microns)

and maintain social distancing.
I also follow good nutrition practices for a strong immune system.
