Yes, I have been affected!
I did not get to take my planned European trip in March.
I did not get to spend my planed week at Incline Village, Lake Tahoe, NV.
Oh...you mean my business. No no affect there. Fremont, Newark, Union City, Ca. are not tourist areas.

The Poconos are all about local tourism and recreation, PA real estate just became essential this week. Pocono counties are still in red despite peak season. The powers that be have not recognized that rural and sparsely settled areas with daily access to fresh air space and sunshine are not at same risk as high density urban areas.

Yes we do, tourism is a big part of our economy with no tourists our economy is pretty flat. Our sales are down as a large part of our sales are vacation or second homes.

I am in a rural, recreational county approximately 60 miles east of Portland, OR. The Hood River mayor has asked Portland metro are residents to stay home for the Memorial Day weekend. And 26 other mayors in similar towns/counties have made the same request. The Oregon beaches and Columbia River Gorge regions do not want to be overwhelmed with visitors from areas with higher confirmed coronavirus populations. Many of the restaurants are choosing not to open until after the holiday.

Everyone vactions in the Endless Summer state.
Those businesses that catered to tourist and kicked the locals to the curb are paying a big price.
The elected rats are seeing revenuse drop way down and will be looking for someone besides the tourist industry to rob.
Latest stats show real estate sales way, way, way down. Like someone flipped a switch....normal...zero!

Yes. Not at all. We are opening more and more, except the casinos . . . I am very disappointed in the NV Governor. This is an unprecedented and political move. Tribal casinos are starting to open up in AZ . . . and the River and Lakes Mohave and Havasu are packed. We're where you can come to NOT be messed with. The energy's been relatively mild . . . stores have food, TP and paper towels. LOL We're getting back to the normal we should have had from the beginning.

We're not really classified a resort but tourism is a big part of our economy. Our part of the state is still very restricted so it's been significantly impacted.

I do not live in a resort area.
We are ALL impacted by the virus in one way or another. This too shall pass.

I'm definitely not in a resort area. But, I keep hearing how normally there are so many travelers to NYC and people going to Broadway, so it will be a major hit to the economy on top of everything else. And, that will probably be the case for a long time.

We have resorts here, but I do not sell inside them very often.
So, no it hasn't affected me, but I'm sure it affected many!

I live where other people take their vacation of a lifetime! The lack of tourists has not personally affected me, but it has had a tremendous affect on our area.
I am waiting for Disney to open, not because I have any desire to go to Disney World (I don't!), but because they are so influential in our area. As soon as they closed, everyone else closed. As soon as they open, it sends a message that things are a little more normal.

On the eve of Memorial day weekend, most of our rural areas are torn between the prospect of all that Chicago money that shows up in the Northwoods, and the fact that they will be bringing the plague with them.
Now is the time to get serious about the quarantine.
We have counties with lack of urban medical care that have encountered 100% mortality from this.
