Well, you see COVID started this fight, it now has dug it's own grave, it shall lie in it-it's on it's own; no sympathy for that virus and no mercy. We're just dead set on kicking it's ass and staying healthy and employed. #SupportSmallBusiness.

No idea how covoid19 is doing.... Covid-19, however, is still creating lots of havoc in the Chicago area.
We have protestors demanding that the state be opened, and the govenor requiring testing and at least 14 days of declining new cases.

There are still new cases and deaths being reported in our County. Some restrictions are or have been lifted - some parks opening but with restricted activities, also beaches, some golf courses.

Chicago still needs shelter in place. Amazingly, some still have not got the message.

It seems to be venturing out on its own. I do not track its status.
Whether you're a brother or whether you're a mother
You're stayin' alive, stayin' alive
Feel the city breakin' and everybody shakin'
And we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive
Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive, stayin' alive
Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive

Per the AZ Dept of Health Services:
My county 14,400 sq mi with 212k residents has 122 cases and 13 deaths.
My town Fort Mohave 17k residents has 0 cases.
Next door town Mohave Valley 14k residents has 1 case.
Next door town Topock 7k people has 0 cases.
Next door town Bullhead City has 16 cases.
The rest of the cases are in Kingman and Lake Havasu which are 50 miles away. Most of those cases either were traveling where they got it and brought it back. OR they contracted in assisted living centers.
VIRTUALLY ALL the cases were high risk.
I read that coroners are auditing 'marked as CV deaths' and REMOVING hundreds from those stats. I think VA and PA . . .
It's gonna take a while before the stats are all in and I suspect MANY will be removed as time goes on.

Improving in NJ. Deaths and hospitalizations are down. The generous medics and MDs and RNs from other areas that came to NJ to help have mostly left to go back to their own home states. Still in self isolation and social distancing, still wearing masks in public places, but state and county and local parks opened yesterday which was a beautiful day!

First death in the US based on Feb autopsy. Well controlled. Some are venturing out show they have no fear.
The lower the education level the more daring some people act.

We are still sheltering in Connecticut; at least until May 20th for some businesses to start opening; hospitalizations are on the decline, but infection numbers still rising, although slower. Will start opening in coordination with neighboring states as we are very interwoven e.g. I live about a mile from NY State.

Our State, California, is easing on Friday but Los Angeles County is waiting until at least May 15th. Cases are high as are deaths but they say we are on the right track towards stabilization.

Essential services such as hospitals, pharmacies, mechanics, grocery stores have been open for the past 5-6 weeks. Public was to stay at home and asked to stay within a kilometer or so of home whenever possible. No socializing with anyone who does not live in your household. Stay minimum of 6 feet from other people. Wear facemasks at stores and use handsanitizers, wash hands frequently. Many openned businesses have their own additional protocols as well. Restaurants are opened for delivery or curbside pick up. Just this weekend public trails and parks reopenned for use. Garden centers are now allowed to open following protocols. Campgrounds ( other than fixed permanent RVs ) and beaches are still closed. We are now allow to go to our cottages/camps. New updates are expected in 2 weeks. Schools & universities remain closed. Most people have converted to working from home.
