Hi Mike! Obviously, be sure you know your county's FAA requirements for drone operators. Carol Williams featured a post that covered your question over the weekend! Here's the link.

I wish you all the best with this Mike. I have no direct personal experience. Those services are hired out to a professional with a license to operate.

My professional photographer at ListerAssister uses:

DJI Mavic Pro because it's small, very portable and shoots great HD photos and video.

DJI seems to be rather well regarded in the space.  There are some pricier ways to go if you want to build your own drone.

Be sure to check if your state has any FAA restrictions, and licensing needed. As far as models I would ask a professional photographer.  A

What is your long term goals regarding the drone.  The learning curve is steep.  I was gifted two and still don’t like the results.

Bob "RealMan" Timm   That is too funny...I have flown one as I have an agent who has one but I do not want one like hers.  I was not aware that there were a lot of trees around Minot!!  Thanks for the share and word of caution!!

I don't know if it's worth it. You have to be licensed & I just hire people out now to do it.

Ken Jones has one.

Great idea. I always want to get one, but don't think I'd do it.

Drones are not easy to control. Perhaps you might want to buy a cheap one, just to practice flying it before you decide to invest in a better model.

Hi Mike McCann - Nebraska Farm Land Broker

My husband got into this at the very beginning around 2014 (I think). He has stayed with DJI UAVs.  Prio to the Mavic, He flew Phantoms, they are bulky and harder to fly.

He currently has a Mavic Pro Platinum and absolutely loves it.  I am his spotter!  I can attest to how easy it is to fly.  Good luck!

His next purchase would be a Mavic 2 with the built-in monitor on the control.
