My husband and I beat COVID 19, we were sick in early March, not really knowing what we had, accept thinking we were sick w/a bad flu.  After a week, I finally went to the doctor and because I didn't have all the systems, they didn't test me for the virus, but after I started getting better, my husband was getting worse, w/high fevers, sore throat, and back pains, he was seen by an urgent care doctor, and was diagnosed w/pneumonia in his right lung and they did test him, well, after five days of meds and the test results came back as positive w/the virus.  I can now say, we are both doing well, and God is so good, staying home does really help.  I believe most of our family that had a bad flu back in January and February had the virus and didn't even know it.

I'm trying to get a good night sleep because it's good for immunity...and well everything else including mood and productivity.

In addition, I am just staying home...reduces worry and stress and that's better for immunity, too.

I thank the Grand Architect of the Universe each day and knock on wood as well for extra measure.

I recover well; I'm a survivor, always have been through traumas. I never feared getting Wuhan Virus. I go to the grocery stores weekly no mask and hike daily no mask. Now, as of yesterday I'll be forced to shop with a mask by store policy changes. 

I figured if I got it,  would be good to get over it and be more immune to it. But, obviously a better plan is to stay healthy and keep the immune system strong enough to fight it as is. Hope you are well too Richie Alan Naggar . HAPPY EASTER.

Allergy treatments are crap and only last a short while.  I had them as a kid and my allergies came back a couple years after the treatment and are as bad now as they ever were, if not worse.

A question that seeks thoughts and answers on several levels, have been through more issues and recoveries than I can count, hopefully this will continue through many more.

So far, so good! It is a constant challenge to balance.

Well, with the Corona virus, it's the overactive immune system that might sink you, so as you say - it's all in the balalnce. We have to work at staying well, whatever it takes and rigth now it's a tall order, for all.

We are staying at home this month.

 I have never been a gambler and am not starting now with my life. Nor do I want to put others at risk. Each of us must make that personal choice. And,  collectively, we are doing our part here on the Monterey Peninsula.

I recover well.  My beliefs are mainstream and I try to stay positive and try to stay away from the negative.  

It is always a case by case, incident by incident, disease by disease, virus by virus and pandemic by pandemic issue.  No one size fits all.

After thinking about the Wuhan Flu, my husband and I think we had it several months back. Fever, sore throat, dry cough that lasted 8 weeks, chest hurt...I went to the doctor, had a chest x-ray done. He was sicker than I was but we are doing fine now. Would like to be tested to confirm. We have limited our exposure to anyone because we always want to be more cautious than necessary for our health and others.

Vulnerability can also lead to affliction, suffering and, perhaps, death. Treatments to foster immunity are done under careful medical control.

I have a Doctor client who was discussing this. His thought was to keep those older folks and those with other health conditions indoors and safe while allowing others back to work. It is a delicate balancing act at best. Building immunity is something he talked about alot as a precaution for the future.

I am doing very well so far.  I have been going out, getting excercise, beach time, walking, etc.  The few days I haven't felt as well, I took some Emergency, vitamins and lots of Orange Juice.  

All is well with me, Richie. 

I remain grateful and healthy while taking non-fearful precautions. 

My goal has always been to keep my immune system strong and working well and I believe it is and I am not too worried about illnesses affecting my body.  Our bodies are designed to fight off viruses and they do so better than drugs.
