I have what I want and need at home but it should help the restaurants - lots of 50% off bottles of wine sales. We've done take-out a few times so far.

Home again, home again...

There have been a number of "we'll deliver alcohol to you in an hour" type businesses that have gone online in recent months.. prior to Covid-19.

I'll take my booze however I can get it.

No I'm pretty sure it's not legal in AZ even in these weird times. You can take a bottle of wine home if it's not opened or it's recorked. As for cocktails, nope.

Consuming alcohol is not on my menu.  I'm reading reports that alcohol consumption us up dramatically these days ... understandably so!

Enjoy your take out food and cocktails! 🍷🍔🍕

Keeping up with the multitude of changes coming our way could be a full-time job.  Of course, within the current social distancing guidelines which are subject to modification in many ways.

I do want to hear the argument that liquor stores are ESSENTIAL.

OH, but they are.

Several 'delivery' companies over the past years have been delivering 'essential' products a clear deviation from traditional.

I am unaware if I can order up a lemon drop w/simple syrup and sugar rim and be able to give the service 5 stars.

They are doing that here as well, but it has to be sealed.  They are using plastic bottles with a tape strip to "seal" it like on a single orange juice bottle.  Sort of like a new liquor bottle. I'm sure it's just during Covid and will not become a thing here.

Restaurants are approved to deliver, beer, liquor and cocktails during this pandemic.  People are struggling to pay their rent, etc but they're permitted to buy booze.  And we wonder why domestic abuse has increased?  I'd rather a drunk go thru withdrawals than deprive their family of food and shelter!

In NY, the grocery stores don't deliver that (except for things like cooking wine), but I think you can get from restaurants. Of course in my area, most are afraid to order from restaurants now. But, I think they can order from liquor stores.  It's also possible that changed.  I can't keep up.  I also can't have alcohol due to my autoimmune disease. So I just choose to stay alive and be normal as much as I can.

I think it's legal here too, just don't drink it on the way home. I'll get takeout food but pass on the drinks being I'm eating at home.  Not a big drinker & have enough in the house to sit this out a year if I had to.

In Texas they've allowed it with a paper cap on top of the straw for decades.  Been legal here for a while now, which kicked off a series of emails from every restaurant I've ever eaten at.  Ugh.

On the bright side, all this free time has been great for my reporting of spam.

I have not yet taken advantage of this new twist.  I am considering getting take out food for dinner tonight but that is just because I know the owner of the restaurant and want to support him thru this little hick up in his business.  AND I want a break from cooking,

The RIGHT CHARLOTTE REALTOR!

We are a big millennial city with lots of craft breweries all over the city. Several of them have teamed up with specialty food trucks and a 'bring your growler' theme - they fill your growler (or you can buy one pre-filled) and your food order.

Other restaurants will sell wine with your take-out order. I've not heard anything about cocktails though. Life is different now - take-out cocktails could very well be a 'thing' and I just haven't heard about it yet!

Nah, I'd rather buy some bottles at the store, disinfect them from the outside, then pour my own safe (and potent) cocktails from hand. Once we enter the post-COVID-19 world, I will gladly look forward to patronizing my fellow bar owners.

Open containers and driving... hey, do you hear all those sirens? Maine barley pop for me where I pop the top works best. Food yes, spirits unless airplane bottle secure, nope. Maine has 119 micro craft breweries. Check the link for how many your state has. California leads the pack with 841 and that's beer, not even considering the vineyards stomping on the grapes to create the juice Thomas J. Nelson, Realtor e-Pro, CRS, RCS-D, Vets Cheers.
