I am starting to become dizzy with the changes that are being put in place. And then reversed. Revised and modified.

Keeping the communications lines open with our renters to make sure this does not become a problem.
If any tenants lose their jobs we have plenty of work to give them.

Eviction moratoriums are common now.
One city is proposing an ordinance saying renter will not need to pay rent for 60 days. Landlords are not happy. They are being told to apply for SBA loans.

NH had halted all foreclosures and evictions, but unintended consequences forced a revision within days, allowing for evictions not based on "non payment" such as for health, safety, destruction of property, illegal activty or abandonment. They are weighing the option for foreclosure on vacant properties. They are allowing forelosure deeds to be recorded for foreclosure sales before March 16 here in NH.

Yes. .. . Utah has stopped evictions until May 15th if the tenant cannot pay rent due to loss of job or illness from the corona virus. Last week the courts were shut, I think the courts will open this week. Just a week by week decisions on what the courts are doing. You can still proceed with an eviction if the client is a nuisance or drug related -- but who knows if the courts will be open to proceed. . . . .

For Florida, they have put a moratorium on RESIDENTIAL evictions and foreclosures. Commercial evictions and foreclosures can still happen can still happen, but I think a lot of courts are at limited capacity, so I'm not sure if they are processing them.

In Illinois, "Governor J.B. Pritzker issued an executive order pausing enforcement of residential evictions until April 8. Evictions are postponed until April 17 in Peoria, Tazewell, Marshall, Putnam, and Stark counties. Cook County (Chicago's County) has paused eviction cases until April 15th.
