I'm not having any issues getting my preferred lender to call me, or my best inspector and I don't call secretaries.  We're closing two more this week and hopefully another next week.

YES as i battle appraisers and lawyers. I have 2 closings left to close and one the appraiser who has had the order for 20 days, long before this heated up. It is a new home and vacant so his excuses are on deaf ears. I have asked the bank to replace him and stop the delay. On the other, we need a seller signed deed. An easy process the lawyer has made so hard.

I'm finding it harder to do everything right now.  Everyone, in one way or another, is in uncharted territory.  Maybe it's the first time they've worked from home.  Maybe it's the first time they had a zoom call.  Maybe they are trying to do their job while also teaching their kids school.  Maybe they don't have toilet paper!

Whatever it is, everyone is in uncharted territory to some extent and everything is taking longer.

The whole system of transacting is taking longer. Wherein it took days for something it is now weeks. A friend had 3 or 4 listings cancel-out. His term? They all went crickets!

I can imagine Ginger Harper . In my job I believe the signing companies that hire me are mostly folks who work from home all the time so it's no big change for me.

Get their cell phone numbers, EMAIL more often- email is the easiest method to communicate AND gives a paper trail.

Our favorite lawyers and title company are available and have specific instructions for settlements. 

The bigger question is ... are they really "working" from home or is this standard operating procedure ... in other words, might they not have called you back in any event.  That happens!

The closing existing deals in the pipeline not hard. LIve in a small rural area where everyone is pretty tight from a distance for safety, to comply with licensing / governot's directive. The new business is coming in without the face to face because of videos Ginger Harper . Stay safe.

My last one closed with no issues, but getting people into escrow is more of the challenge than closing the escrows.
