Manners should be used at ALL TIMES, especially when coughing and sneezing and washing the hands after using the bathroom, a reflex. I use my fists and elbows more than ever now!

Proper precautions are always warranted as long as it isn't taken too far into the fanatic zone.

Humans are reactionary, this goes far beyond hygiene.

  Why would anyone eat at a self serve buffet restaurant (including Whole Foods), when the plexiglass covering the food is called a SNEEZE GUARD?  Not to mention the serving spoons that people touch with their bare hands, and then throw on top of the food.  

Regretfully I have not seen a correction in Minot ND Richie Alan Naggar . At the church I used to  attend they would suspend hand shaking during the height of flu season. I always carry hand sanitizer with me so I seldom worry about hand shakes BUT I do shake my head when I see people caughing and sneezing without blocking the action in some way or another.

Manners. Respect. Consideration ... all seem to be lost by many in today's society.  I correction back?  How so? By wearing a mask and not touching. Me thinks not. It's temporary driven by fear. When the fear subsides my sense tells me it will be back to business as usual.

I'm sorry but this is something we were taught in Kindergarten: cover your mouth when sneezing, coughing, or yawning !  Why is this so difficult to understand.  Rarely, do I handle cash and I actually used disinfectant wipes on my debit & credit cards, not knowing who'd handled them recently. 

Well, to be honest from my perspective, there are just too many slobs out there. It makes my skin crawl sometimes & it's good that we are having a correction point here.

Proper manners can be common as well as a common misconception.   The world is a big place.  Each can likely be "found".

I love to see the tall folks leaning over the top of the sneeze glass to point at what they want on their sandwich. I guess they think the virus should be spread as fast possible to get it over with already.

Those play grounds at the mall with dozens of petri dishes slobbering and coughing and wiping on everything makes my skin crawl.

What do I do? Avoid petri dishes, choose venues I'm comfortable with and reflect what the other side is comfortable with.  If they want to shake hands, that is what I will do. The issue IS NOT SHAKING HANDS but is what you do with your hands after wards.  That means keep them away from your face.

No be advised, if eBoli was involved....no touchy of any kind, including 'chain touching"  and don't come into my zipcode with those letters on board. It one thing when we are talking about FLU but quite different when mortality rate merits fear.

Flu/cold season is here, and definitely best not to share your germs.

I am not so sure about correction as I was traveling last week and was surprised by the uncaring (rude) manners. I stopped at every hand-sanitizer station to just get a quick one.  I was taught from a young age to cover my mouth when coughing, sneezing, and/or yawning.  Seems many have forgotten or just don't care.

I'd stop and leave  more lengthy response but I want to get to CVS to pick up bleach to disinfect my desk before work.

It would be nice if it stayed, but I doubt it will last more than a couple weeks (if not a couple days) after this is over.

All of us need to be alert to protect our health.

Proper manners and common sense evade many, but should be common practice in public.
