The right Charlotte REALTOR!

I have a number of private banking folks & high level execs who are clients that use their busienss emails for our mutual clients but, do not want to do personal business via their work email.

However, I have a good deal of clients who use their work email too. I would say ½ & ½.

I tend to see mostly personal email addresses.  Sometimes there will be a work one involved, but that is a rarity.

I let them tell me their preference. If they prefer the work email, I do mention it is not private.  Of course, what is really private these days with the Chinese and FB/Apple/Amazon, etc eavesdropping on all electronic communications.

I do get those on occasion, but largely, I deal with people who have their own businesses.

The ones (you'll get this) that are troublesome are the MILITARY ones! They block my domain mail every time . . . so I have gmail alternate addresses for them and others with high levels of security.

Years ago any professional using these emails was looked down upon. The premise? They couldn't or wouldn't pay for a more specific business contact-mail making one wonder why?

Those who offer to use their work email are advised to create a disposable one for this event.

They are further advised they will receive a txt when they must look at their email.

The wheels come off the wagon when the "I have no internet' buyer/seller is encountered. I make it work but it compels greater efficiency.

Jeff,

I see a mix.

I know one big wig who only uses a corporate email so he only has one place to look and sort.

On the other hand, at last count I think I have 9 active email addresses.
