I used to rank on the front page and I was happy with that for my RE brokerage Tammy Lankford, especially because I have never paid anyone a dime to increase my rankings.

Today, doing business as Ward County Notary Services it's a piece of cake being on top.

2004 in RE and 2005 for the first website...and that was my url so, ~15 is my oldest url also.

And, I also heard the url age has a lot to do with ranking...AND, how many years the url has been paid in advance. So, no renewal until 2030 = commitment to keep the domain relevant, according to G.

I think that my AR blog shows up more than any of my web pages.

I opened my first real estate office in the summer of 1961. That was pre-internet.

The design has changed several times but it lives on!

I started in real estte in October 2002. I on't remember what company I paid $79 a month for using their services to set up my website with. The only thing I am never going to forget is that site made me over $18,000 the first year. My url was canoncountrymanufacturedhomes.com and yes, I was on the first page more than once. I took a hiatus (had a stroke) and now I don't have a site anymore, thinking I need to create one.

Got started young.... real estate broker's license earned in 1979. Websites... kicked www.mooersrealty.com in gear 21 years, 7 months, 19 days back. May 1st 1998.

Just for fun, flavor of my state and local communities www.MeInMaine.com  went live 10 years, 10 months, 8 days ago. February 12, 2009. Have other domains parked and AR took a fair amount of the time before local blogging channels turned on to plant, weed, water daily. The age of the url is only one of many factors... don't bet the farm on age of the domain alone Tammy Lankford, 

Late 90s, yes.  Website was born in the late 90s as well.  Maybe around 98/99.  That's my oldest URL.

I have had my website www.tonylewis.com long enough to get such a common name as my url.  I believe it was around 1997 or 1998 but don't know how to find the starting date.  I was first licensed in November of 1996.  The url is the same since it was created.

I passed the test when i turned 18 in 1985. I have been practicing real estate ever since. I have a variety of URL's. but most of my clients come form referalls. 

You are talking a foreign language to me, best luck.  There is no magic to success in real estate but hard work and consistency

So I started flooring in 2008 as part of a franchise (parallel to a brokerage).  they gave us a page right away.  useless of course.  in maybe 2009 or 2010 they gave us our own "site" (doesn't exist anymore) and you couldn't blog on it.  In 2010 I started here and in 2011 I started my own wordpress site.  TheFlooringGirl.com

I rank well on a bunch of things (obviously) and on many vs the big guys for my category.

Having an aged domain helps, but not nearly as much as it used to. It's one of 200+ factors.  Having an aged URL, same thing.  One thing that is hard to disentangle is backlinks (which obviously matter a lot).  but there is a correlation between age and backlinks (if you know what you're doing).

Glad you showed that guy that you knew what you're doing.  The biggest factors (obviously) are on-page SEO optimization and authority, both of which you have in spades.

1976 was my 1st tear. Then it was on and off until 2003. In hindsight I should have just ground it out

2009 and I used to use the website provided by the broker(s).  Then I realized that I needed my own and not to depend on the broker(s) for the website.  So I started having my own 2 years ago.

I got rid of all of them.... I only focus on tammy's website.... and the majority of our business is from print marketing..... 

I started in 2000. Got my own website in 2001 and I have had the URL since 2001 but it the site itself has had two different hosts.

I was there when God said, "Let there be dirt!"

Then he  asked, "How you gonna sell that?"

1983, cannot remember when I got my website but I was the 1st in the office. Maybe 1995? I remember Lenn Harley used to ask us about our aged URL. 

I had somebody do that also once & he didn't like his results. There's always Incongnito mode. Duh.
