No. Frankly, I get annoyed when those boxes pop up. I have a feeling that they annoy a lot of people. One reason I think people use real estate websites is so that they don't have to talk to what they expect to be a pushy agent.

not interested for a real estate website.  Do you really want to engage in a chat while on listing or show appointment?  It's a be available when chatter is or lose them.  Paying for a lot of missed "opportunities."  

Might consider having your office staff handle chats if trained to ask qualifying questions.

I would like to be more chatbot savvy. I learned a few good tools from "Molly Chatbot" but I haven't yet built it for my real estate page. In 2008 my neighbor "facebook messenged me" to sell her house. She could have spoken over the fence, right! Our kids even went to the same school. That's when I lost my resistance to Facebook. I'm def. open to learning chatbot. One good way is to go to someone else's page that has one and subscribe so you can see how they are using it. Plus, Manychat has a free option. Sounds like one more thing I need to master! Thank you so much for the question.

No - Then don't do it. You lack to personal experience to understand the usage and will be relying on the guidance of the sellers of shiny things. This will prove to be anohter thing that 'didn't work for me."

Yes - Do more analysis regarding the situation what compelled the click.

Now be aware, there is the obnoxious CHATBOT that pops up and won't go away practically always the RED FLAG for fraud.  Then there is the passive bot that invites a click. You failed to specify which implementation you are investigating.

This issue is not whether CHATBOT is the right thing to do, because it it clear this convenience is highly effective, but whether the situation and support are present to make them effective. A CHATBOT with no one home is counter-productive.

I understand large retailers etc wanting to have them, and I prefer them to having to call.

I have not, but I know of several vendors.  Some work better than others, some punt to your phone to have you answer the questions.  I have not seen the benefit to implementing one.  The important questions are all contained in the various website writeups and "when can I see it" can be handled easily from those sites.  Most have my phone number prominently displayed, while others have a contact form.
