Nothing surprises me these days.  Then again, as soon as I say that something happens that surprises me.  Doubtful anything Z doses will surprise me. There is a reason some refer to Z as Z Devil. Just ask Annette!

The REAL trend for which agents must be concerned is the increasing number of enterprises building barriers between the citizen and real estate agent.

My opinion of Zdevil has changed little.

NOTICE: Agents using any free resource or paid resource should make certain their contact data is embedded in the information they submit in such a fashion the labor to remove it become prohibitive. Embed in the text, water mark images, spell it out such as DeniseatProdigy.com.  (who remembers Prodigy?) That applies to Active Rain also. Do not let your signature and profile be the only place where your contact data appear. This may be the only compensation you receive for surrendering your rights to your Intellectual Property.

I did not know about this, but I tend not to like anything associated with zillow.  They definitely seem like a company looking to scam people.

That's a good thing.  I know Keller Williams did the same earlier in the year.  It was in their contract w/DotLoop.

Z is trying to be like Amazon.  It's trying to monopolize everything they can in real estate.  Then again, many agents are paying tons of money for leads to z.

I use Docusign and have for some time. Dotloop seems behind the times. Z wants RE data and will continue to pursue by whatever means.

In Colorado we have our own electronic contract software so no ZipForms or DotLoop.

I wonder what else Zillow may buy ???

Z has owned Dotloop for a while now, and our agreement through KW did not allow them to do this, however as we end our contract with them I suspect that they may go after our data too.

I would think that's a good thing to be doing. But I am not a Dotloop user so I guess I really don't care all that much.

What do you mean scrubbing? The reason RM does not use DL is because they are owned by Z. Just in case that was going to happen, they weren't going to get a hold of our clients.

The majority of our clients have no time for Zillow, they are busy listing and selling.  Just keep in mind, Zillow has to answer to their stockholders and they are doing all kinds of things to promise profit and who knows what else.  Follow the money $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I use dotloop and have not got any notices of a change, so going to research this a little. Z can make a mess out of the simplest of things

My prediction is the next big real estate collapse will be due to Zillow.

I have dispised DotLoop for years and I always shake my head when those stupid little boxes come through on contracts for my clients to sign. 

They had a breach in security years ago, they've never been secure, yet brokerages continue to use them. Makes no sense to me at all.

Luckily we have CTMe-contracts, and don't use Dotloop.

I am not affected.

No DL for me, I use Form Simplicity

I never used it before Zillow bought it and am happy not to be using it now.

I never cared for the company.
