Our County does not have anything for 'me' to vote on in this election and I did not receive a ballot (eligible residents were mailed ballots, it is a 'ballot by mail election'.)

I (along with MANY MANY people in Mohave County, 5th largest in US w 14k square miles but only 3 municipalities) live in an unincorporated area.

There are 2 ballot measures; one a bond measure in Kingman. The other is Bullhead City which is 'right next to me' but I'm not a resident. This is a very controversial and fascinating issue.

A CANADIAN company owns one of our water companies; City wants to buy them out and control it. The big controversy, as you might imagine, is 'at what cost to the residents'.

The pros say costs can be managed with no significant impact. The cons are, City is borrowing a big amount of money (130M bond) to afford this.

My connects in local government are in favor and it is expected to pass. I am paying attention because like many things, utility costs impact real estate!

I was at the gym at 5:00am and the Polls at 6:00am when they opened.... I would not miss voting....

We voted this morning. 

I will vote in the Presidential Election for sure but this year, in my local election, no, I'm not voting. The people who run the town are crooks & their supporting cast are more crooks & dolts. Regardless what side you are on it's a cast of Jokers. These local officials just make promises to break promises. Once they get in all they care about is lining their wallets with special interest money. 

It is an important day.   It is your duty and freedom to vote. Make it count.

We have a city elections in Orlando today.  The mayor and one city council seat.  I voted a few weeks ago by mail.

No election in my area today.  At least not to my knowledge.

When it comes to voting, I have not witnessed an election season where voting a straight ticket actually made sense. This tribalism has got to find and end somewhere.

Absolutely, and delivered my ballot days before Election Day.

People have the right to not vote if they don't want to. That's what makes democracy great - there's no obligation to participate. Having said that, I rarely miss an opportunity to vote - too many people worked too hard to ensure that I had the right to vote.

I vote because it is a privilege.... and it feels better to bitch when things go wrong!
