Well I was at Cocktails Thursday and got called an 11 which is coincidentally the volume setting on my stereo!

I personally never really believed in not giving someone/something a 10/10 because there is always room for improvement. Yes, there will always be room for improvement on anything but if I am happy with something I will give it a 10/10. If something is 10/10 it usually means that the company or individual is always working on improvements anyways so I don't mind giving it. 

I give 10's but they're only good the moment they're issued. They hav no lasting value because I know their #1 competitor is on their heels creating a better version the momont I rate them. It's tough to stay on top forever!

Yes, I'll give 10s quite often, especially on service questionnaires.  Having worked in IT support where those surveys determined your raise, I always give glowing reviews unless the person was a real ass.

I like to be generous in all ways, including praise.

If it keeps it promise why not a ten?

People are so harsh about 10.

I often give tens when I feel they deserve an applause, a high five or a gratuity. I like to encourage and reward above & beyond performance.

Only One walked on water, so I guess that's that.

I give '10's liberally.  when the spirit moves me and whatever puts a smile on my face.

Annette I just don't get into the rating of products or services.

The only criterion I have for "10" is that it must follow nine and be before 11.

Agreed, also if there is no other competing product that works any better. 

On Yelp, I rarely give out 5's but I have like with one restaurant that totally remodeled itself.

I can't remember the last time I took time to rate anything. 

I will give a 10 rating but that usually has to do with superior service or if I really love a product. There is always room for improvement and things can get better, but that doesn't always impact my appreciation for and use of the original item. For example, I really like and will continue to use my Galaxy S9+ until it becomes painstakingly slow or I have the need for something else. 

I give 10s in customer service ratings when the person went above and beyond and made my day or took initiative to do something instead of passing me off to someone else. 

I rarely give 10s. If I truly think something just could not be any better (in my opinion) it gets a 10. I don't believe people or products should get a "10" just for doing what they are supposed to do. A 10 represents something/someone that is excellent or outstanding.

10 is, to me, perfect. Other than my spouse and children, it doesn't exist 

I give 10's on employee surveys when I know the scores determine assignments, like crusie ships! In most other instances a 9 will suffice.

Things I rate on a regular basis - books have a 1-5 scale. Lots of novels I start and never go past chapter two, I don't rate them poorly, just don't review. If I enjoyed the ride or stayed up all night to finish the book, it deserves the highest rating. What else do I rate? a few on yelp - and I give 10's per say or 1's

A 10 is perfection. Since there is no perfect, if you've served me well, done your job and put a smile on my face, I'll give you a 10!

10 criteria are nearly walking on water.  I do not fluff pillows. 

I learned long ago, there's a short shelf life to most "stuff".... I don't rate it...I use it until something better comes and I always know it's just around the corner....

I rarely rate, it takes too much time out of our day, if I answered everyone who is looking for a review.  And I do not believe those that say, this review will take 2 minutes, 5 minutes later it istill going...A

Very rare for me to give a 10 on anything except my wife which I always give a 10 to...Happy wife...Happy life...lol 

Overseas #10 no good...#1 so good.

I rate according to the experience.  If I receive exceptional service I give a high mark.

It can always get better- it's all about perspective.

Giving a 10 is very scarce.

I guess I am funny and give 10 + to some people that do a outstanding job.

I give a "10" when I am totally satisfied with the product or service. To give less is not fair for a product or person that or who has performed above expectations.

Could there be a better performance? You would only know if you experience it.

Do you give your best effort on a consistent basis or do you only give 90-95% and what rating do you think that you consistently earn?

When I have had a positive experience with a real person thaat is genuine, then I am open to a '10'
