No, it is against the law in NC.

SC it is permitted so, lots of people cross the state line to purchase fireworks and bring them back to their NC parks, lake docks or cul-de-sacs!

NO and yet folks do it over and over with the Mohave County Sheriff chasing after them. LOL

We have AMAZING fireworks displays at 2 local casino resorts and parks, most right over the River. Practically anywhere you go, there's one to enjoy. I can see one from my back patio and have to close up the house and crank up the music to keep the dog from freaking out!

Our town allows "safe and sane" fireworks for personal use. Many local non-profits make most of their annual income from the sale of those pyrotechnic devices. Most other communities around here do not allow sale or use of fireworks.

Where I am spending the 4th...in the Sierra foothills...fireworks are an absolute NO! NO!

Recreational use of fireworks is not permitted in the most densely populated county in Florida.

Large ones!  But smaller ones are discouraged but not much is done about it unless they are acting in a dangerous way. That being said...fireworks are illegal in MA for individuals

Then we'll get complaints at the Selectmen's office about terrorized dogs and veterans with PTSD. But then again, we live across the pond from the Fish & Game Club where there is shooting every day.

Yes, in CT we have legal fireworks but they are limited in what they can sell, they won't shoot high up in the sky or make huge booms. I like the fireworks we had when I was a kid, everything flew high & exploded loud.

Fireworks ARE legal here in NH. Individual towns/cities may allow or outlaw them though. Fireworks stores have to be free standing and sprinklered, no road side stands or tents

Yes they do.  I'm usually in bed around 8-8:30 reading a book.  Light out no later than 9.  Trouble is they allow fireworks until 11.

Kelowna does a big set of fireworks over the lake on Canada here. There is a ban on individual use. But some think they are above the law and shoot the off.

My county does not though that does not stop people as they are easy to get nearby. As dry as it usually is around us, it could end badly. We traditionally go to another county to watch their fireworks show  and they allow  fireworks so there are MANY to see all around throughout the night.

Yes, some smaller safer fireworks are allowed. Essentially, any firework that explodes or leaves the ground is not legal in North Carolina.

Fireworks make no sense in Alaska during the summer Its light all day and night! We do fireworks for winter carnival and new years eve
