I like being prepared. Sometimes that includes a strategy but not game-playing. 

I get things done asap ... I have learned too many surprises fill our day and week. I want to just "geterdone!"

I like to get things done prior to deadlines. 

I'm all over the place Joan Cox BUT I always get the job done on time.

I don't like to do business with agents that are last minute performers. Once I identify them, I try to avoid them!

I like to be ready before the deadlines.

I do like to get tasks done prior to the deadline, but often I do not. As per clients, I do prefer to get them sign all as soon as it possible. 

Prior to when possible, but there is nothing like a deadline for an adrenaline rush!

Personally, I like getting things done ahead of time (back in college, well, that was an entirely different story). As far as the Buyers in your escrow, it could be paralysis through analysis, procrastination, or just good ol' fashioned jitters.

Sometimes even beyond the deadline, sometimes it is because I have too many things on my plate, other times it may be strategic.

It depends on the task.  In general, I like to get things done as soon as possible. However, some things take inspiration and for that I tend to be most inspired by a deadline.

Yes. I love to have everything done early, but sometimes, it doesn't happen.

I think when someone is unsure, not threatened by or simply not interested in doing something they procrastinate or show up late. I take that behavior as rebellion; they aren't really committed to what they are doing & it can become a problem for you if you have to deal with them.

I definitely like getting things done ahead of time when possible. I'm not a last-minute person.

Because what if? If we wait till the last minute, what if the car breaks down, the printer won't work, the Internet goes down, we can't find the one thing we need to finish it, etc... Then the thing won't be at the last minute, it will be late. And I have a problem with being late! I'd much rather be early.

I'd like tasks done ahead of time but sometimes things just happen. 

I had a transaction in the past where after verbal agreement, buyer's agent sent an amendment and changed some items there.  We went back to the drawing board to re-negotiate. 

The same agent, on the last day of the option, said she will send our agreed upon other amendment in the morning. We all know deadline is 5pm and here I was worried not knowing whether she would make changes again.  I waited but then sent a text message (tried calling by couldn't leave a voicemail because her voicemail was full).  At 3pm, I received the document and luckily no changes.  If she made changes again,  at 3pm we would be back re-negotiating again.  If she is not available to take care of any document changes, it would be her client that is out of option.  I would not do that to my client. Sometimes people just don't think, and this woman is broker

Last minute is the way most people operate. There is a theory to the effect that one takes as much time to accomplish a task as one is given, e.g. term papers are normally done last minute, regardless of initial intentions. We even have nightmares about that!

I like to be prepared but there are some times it all seems to come together in the 11th hour... 

I don't like last minute, I like to be ready ahead of time.

I tend to steer away fron anarchy and the accompanying stress.

In my thinking 'on-time' is late since that is one stop light from being late and makes one reactionary not proactive.

For such last minute folks, provding them the information they need, at the last minute may deliver the message clearly.

I like to get things done on time - I have the critical dates list in my head but I mark on paper, too, sometimes.

No, I do it as it comes up except for cont. ed. That I seem to wait for the last 3 weeks to even begin it.
