It's hard to predict or answer that with a 100% certainty, Ginger Harper ... but here in Chicagoland where winter weather can get pretty nasty, the answer is most likely "yes".  Better weather is an incentive to those out looking to buy.  But so many other variables can contribute to this.  Don't quote me!

Home prices are appreciating and marketing time is fairly short again.  In fact the home owners focus on what it takes to unload than past stellar data,

Spring ... a Time of New Beginnings seems to bring Buyers out of the woodwork. I just the Sellers would see Now is the Time to put their house on the market.  We are seeing 6-10 buyers for every house on the market ... the competition is helping Sellers not Buyers as there are so many Nultiple Offers forcing Buyer Bids to be wave OVER asking Price. Crazy.  IMHO

Still waiting and the winter melt has caused massive flooding in our area with exceptionally high water levels.  It'll be awhile before we're able to list our waterfront homes :(

May is supposedly the best time to sell a house. Do a Google search "What is the best time to sell a house?"

Many homeowners do the search and wait till May to sell. So...too many houses on the market in May and downward pressure on prices.
