Julio Vasiu After thinking about your very interesting question, I have to say that, today, I'd prefer to be a bit more like I was when I first started.

It seems that the more knowledge and experience I obtained, the more hesitant I became about pursuing certain things. I believe this has worked against me at certain times.

Just talk with more folks. When I first started I pretty much relied on email communication. Talking on the phone or better yet in person is much more effective for the time spent. I had call reluctance and eventually got over it and my biz improved.

Nothing and so so glad the market was its hardest when I started the list and twist 40 years ago. Interest rates were 16.5% adjustable... you quickly learn valuable lessons and can not afford bad habits when the incline is steepest. How we do what we do had changed for all of us but everyday you and I reinvent how we list and shout Julio Vasiu ! The Internet is amazing when you are a small rural broker now with access to major market real estate buyers with money to burn and look mom, no mortgage heading in this direction.
