Over the years many different things, but there are two that I still do and will continue to do. One is t-shirts, black with logo and nothing else. The only way to get one is close a deal. The other is reusable grocery bags. Big ones with thick shoulder straps. Those have logo phone number etc. You have to close the deal to get one of those too. Everybody loves those.

Same old tried and true items... my calendar with a magnetic back and note pads with magnetic banks to which I attach my business card. My clients look forward to receiving them and always ask for more. Buy them when on sale it's a reasonable cost.

Hmmm. As far as something new and exciting I haven't heard of anything totally brand new that's the rave.  Candice A. Donofrio 's comment about grocery bags would be a good one for our area and if I were investing in some marketing merchandise that would be what I would choose.

No.  Not into giveaways.  I have received well over two hundred pens during my IT days and have never once looked at the logo or had the pen lead to a decision to look into a company or buy a product.

Peter Mohylsky, SoWal Is HOME. I used to buy the cheepest "click type" of pens I could find. They would get passed around a lot as opposed to an expensive pen that one person would keep and not want to loose. I wanted my little ad to be seen by as many people as possible.
