I'm retired BUT a lot depended on when the local Air Force Base was moving troops around. I also did good in the months that other agents thought were the worst. That would be November, December, and January up here on the North Coast.

This question inspired me to do some research.  In the tne years that I have had transaction numbers in the double digits, it seems that March and June seem to have the most closings.  That said, in 2018 January was one of my top months.  And in my years with the most production, December is a second runner up for most closings.  What surprised me is that there has yet to be a year where I get a sale every month.  One or two months are settlementless.  Sometimes that's March.  Some years it is May.

I think the market is what you make it.  If you believe spring is the only time you are going to sell, your sales will be in Spring.  If you believe there is a market year round, you'll see sales is just about every month.

There is no average but I can tell you my highest number of closings in one month was a July.

January, each and every year. Which is very strange as I sell primarily waterfront properties which are usually iced up solid in January!  Summer months are the slowest for me as everyone is in vacation/cottage mode.  Too hot, too humid, too buggy . . .   Sept is also a busy month
