Since I don't do open houses, I guess the answer is no. I virtually never wear a name tag! I do know who I am and can find my way home on my own!

Never was a fan of the name tag or photo on my business card. These were things that were never done when I graduated from law school. So no name tag, car signs or my photograph. Not for everyone but just my style!

I have never worn a name tag in real estate. Some do. Not my style. Nor are car wraps. Or other shiny objects that may be mentioned.

I wear it to networking events, I do not hold open houses; they are a waste of time for seasoned agents in my experience and so agreed in my circles.

I usually do wear a name plate when doing open houses as well as other "real estate functions" (like floortime, showings, listing appointments, networking events, etc.).

I do not. I introduce myself and since mine is the only name in the room they need to remember, I think it's pretty easy for guests!

The only time I wear a name tag is when I do open houses. I find that once I strike up a nice conversation, I will see the prospective home buyer glance at my name tag. It is often a clue to me that they want to remember my name. I don’t think it hurts, and if it helps great!

Years ago I had a bunch of polo style shirts embroidered with my name over the breast with my brokerage beneath it. No need to wear a badge then. I also always introduce myself, ask the visitors to fill out a questionaire that of course also hads my name & info prodominately featured & give them a handout about the home which also features my info.

Always. And I introduce myself and write down their names as well. As I talk to them, I ask for more and more information so that I can send them updates with the market. It is all about rapport and asking for the business. I ask for their thoughts on the house and how it compares to others that they have seen in the same area or price range. Feedback is a great way to serve the seller and give the buyer a voice.
