In my opinion, a GOOD real estate agent provides a ton of value, but nothing that is more important than TIME - a client doesn't have to sift through all the nonsense, bullshit, sales funnels, misrepresented homes, etc, when they're working with a great agent. The agent makes it easy on them.

Hmm. Recently on AR a thread discusses how the worst of clients tend to be ex-real estate agents. Agent may have on over-inflated impression of what they bring to the table.
Buyers and seller ARE more informed than ever before. Agents who tell buyer and seller they are not informed create a relationship fraught with second guessing.
Of course there is the 1st timer that needs lots of handholding but that is insecurity, not the issue of not being informed.
The value we bring, on many different levels, is simply making the way. "The way" is what we have heard our cleint say, and we make it a reality. Very often is mean simply guiding THEIR hands on the right task. Other times it means creating the protected time for their thinking to become more clear.
Our value is making the client #1, while we remain the silent partner.
OF course it is possible to be more specific, but its not necessary today.
