Leaving them up means you have the jump on next year right? Seriously, the amber candle in the windows on a snowy night reflects and reminds me of  the spirit of the season. I see lots of the simple candle clear lights and some people have them year round celebrating or using them like room by room night lights.

We toke them down last weekend. We cut down our tree at a Xmas tree farm the day after Thanksgiving and the tree still was not loosing its needles, so we kept it up. It’s standing in our back yard now covered with popcorn for the birds to enjoy.
