My guess would be that there is a missing item in the drop downs below the writing area.  Category is usually the biggest one.

Minus 16 = too many words in the Title.  

Next, in the drop down below the body of the blog post:

1. Choose an Audience (default is Public).

2.  Choose an ActiveRain Topic (if unsure, choose ActiveRain Community).   

Everything else is optional.

It sounds as if your title has too many characters. The title can only be 70 characters long. I don't think there is word limit in the body. I just pasted 15000 words in a body and it worked.

That -16 means that you have 16 characters that will not show up in the url of your post. 

Likely it is something else that is keeping you from posting, make sure you have all the correct stuff filled out on the bottom, though most of those will show a specific error message when you miss them.

If you're showing a negative 16 that means you've got too many words in the TITLE, I suspect.

There should be no limit. Save your draft and then post it.

Check the title and make sure you are not over the limit for the number of characters. 

I believe the minimum word count if 50 for points. Otherwise, there is no limit. 

The number of words in the title should not be the issue - did you fill in all the required fields? Not sure there is any word limit for the post, either.  Try saving, THEN publishing.

bet you are missing some required info in the drop downs at the bottom.

Shorten your title. 

In any case, it is a good idea to modify your article a bit when you post it on different platforms.

Not a clue Philip A. Raices but when this happens to me it's always some little thing I over looked.

Sounds like your title is too long. But that shouldn't stop you from being able to publish. Not enough information to say more.

Yes, when the title is long - it shows - 16 or whatever. So, you have to make it shorter.

It's the invasion of the blue men that are asking all the betting, casino questions above your questions putting  a wrench in the AR website performance. Need a can of dry gas, dcon and the ability to zap and remove not just report the army of blue men in the shadows that hurt the site.
