I have had the honor and privilege of meeting a several Navy seals.  I have seen them demonstrate a simulated take down complete with arms, helicopters and dog at Pebble Beach on the 17th hole.  The best part was when the last seal parachuted down with the American Flag as the bagpiper played the Star Spangled Banner.   There was not a dry eye in the crowd. Ron and I have met 5 medal of honor recipients who were in the Navy seals and special ops.   I have sat a dinner with two very special men and had great conversations with them. Our real estate  client and her  husband support them as part of what they do.  Earlier this month, we were at a dinner in Napa's famed French Laundry which honors and supports the seals.  You can see a brief video of a demo they did in Key largo. I missed it so can't give an answer. Am not impressed lately with the books getting pushed down our throats. Lately, I haven't been impressed with Ben.

Did not tune in but do know that David Goggins is a very disciplined, determined person physically and mentally.

Didn't hear the interview. I am always motivated to do something different in the shorter term for a longer term payoff.

I have the utmost respect for all service men & women and am proud to have many in my family. I am confident that any and all of them would have also enjoyed David Goggins' interview and I hate that I had to miss it.

What was your take-away?

That was a great presentation.  I invited my dad over and we watched it on the big screen together.  Lots of good take-aways.

       I missed the interview.   I won't run after the latest trend, but if doing something new or different will bring results, I will try it.

I listened to it and enjoyed it. My take away is not something that I hadn't heard before but hearing it again from another point of view hit home a little more than previous times - just take the next step regardless of how painful it seems or how tired I feel. Keep going. The guy pushed through a lot.

I signed up at the last minute, expecting to maybe listen for a half hour or so. I was there for the full hour and a half and listened to every word. Goggins' example proves that your circumstances do NOT dictate where you wind up, but your motivation/drive sure does. I actually did buy the book. It can't hurt to read more about his thoughts and I am considering sharing it with someone who might get a lot out of it.

Missed it. Was it good? Did they post a recording? 

I did not get to see the presentation. I was in a training class all day.
